    Pros +

    • The staff was especially accommodating; they were very kind, and despite booking only the first two nights in the King sized room, where I planned to have a friend stay with me, they let me stay in the same room for my whole week's stay! They were also very timely with cleaning the rooms.Breakfast had a great array of food and it was a very respectfully quiet area.It is also a minute walk to a beautiful gothic Cathedral/popup market square.
    • Very friendly staff at the hotel: extremely helpful and kind!
    • Staff were super friendly and breakfast was nice

    Cons -

    • It IS an old building so I did have a few issues with the toilet flush button getting stuck. Also the WiFi did not reach to the top story where I stayed.
    • Floors in the room were creaking and loud - but it was a minor issue. WiFi in the room didn’t work too well.
    • Bathroom and room were a bit small, but cute in a quaint cozy way

Very hospitable hosts, nice patio, good location.

No elevator, uncomfortable bed, very cold room.

Absolutely lovely staff from front desk to cleaners, breakfast makers etc. The location isn't smack down middle of Munich, but buses go straight to Marienplatz frequently and the bus rides takes around 10-20 minutes. You can get to the hotel from chinesischer turm in less than 50 minutes. The room was very very clean and was cleaned every day. The toilet and shower was good also. Breakfast was good and gave a good start for the day. They also have 2 cute hotel doggos <3

The bed was a bit too soft for my back. Also - as in buildings from this era - the doors doent keep sounds from corridor away that much. I was out until late so I didnt mind on the first two days, but I had some oktoberfest guests staying at the adjacent rooms and they were a bit loud in the morning and in the evening. This isn't that big o a problem though.I don't know how much the rooms are outside Oktoberfest-season, but at the time the price was a bit too steep for my liking although in line with the prices of other hotels considering the season.

Room was old, and wifi was very very bad

Really authentic experience. The owners have a cute dog we got to know and they gave our kid candy every day to make her feel special.

    breakfast, location

beds in both rooms were awful! I switched rooms after the first night because I was sleeping on metal bars - the matrass was so bad. the second bed was awful again. basically the hotel is bad for sleepinf :( no reception room - I was supposed to meet a man at the reception - lobby, there is no.such thing. I had to run and find a place.close by where we could meet.

The breakfast and the staff was great but the room wasn't clean and Ive also found used contact lenses on the side of my bed...

The room was old fashioned and wasn't clean

It is really B&B, not a hotel. The location is excellent. The staff was very friendly. The buffet breakfast was adequate. The instructions for getting in after hours were easy to follow.

The room was clean, but needed some repairs - it had a large stained spot on the ceiling with a paint peeling off.

    10JonathanPosted on: 10-11-2024

The hotel was beautiful, clean and centrally located to transit around the city. The staff was lovely, informative and funny.

The only issue we had was that the bed was a little firm/ hard for our taste.

Lovely staff with very cute dogs! Great breakfast offering included in price. Despite it being not in the centre, lots of local transport options across Munich. Staff very kindly let us check in a few hours early which really helped with our plans for Oktoberfest.

Dated decor and a little pricy but this was during Oktoberfest where every accomodation offering is expensive

    6VoytecPosted on: 10-2-2024

Cozy little hotel 20 minute walking distance to city centre. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite nice, too.

The walls were a bit thin; I was awoken by a vomiting neighbor in the middle of the night. I could hear every detail of his puking.

    10OliverPosted on: 10-2-2024

Very friendly staff in a great, convenient location. Extremely diligent guard dog (Luna). Complimentary breakfast was also great!

    7BetinaPosted on: 9-30-2024

The breakfast was very nice, with many varieties. The location is very close to the bus stop, but you can also walk to the city center in 15min. Large beds.

There is no lift, so if you have a large suitcase, it will be a problem. The bathroom could improve a bit. Very expensive if you go on Oktoberfest.

This has been the most wonderful hotel I ever resided at. It felt like a home from home. The warmth and friendliness of the staff and the unique family environment of this most professional establishment steeped in the guest centred personal touch augured for a refreshing and most enriching holiday. I will certainly return here at the first opportunity!

There was not a single thing I did not like :)

    9MichellePosted on: 9-24-2024

The hotel was easy to find. The breakfast was good and varied. The room was adequate and clean, with toiletries and towels included. A complimentary bottle of water each was available on arrival. The room was made up every day which was a nice touch, even though not necessary as we only used the hotel as a base.

Perhaps a tea/coffee making facility in the room or on offer in the breakfast room during the hours the reception was manned.

    8JacquelinePosted on: 9-22-2024

Very kind staff. We had to leave early and miss breakfast so food and coffee were put in our room the night before.

The price, but it is Oktoberfest after all
