- Friendly people. Nice rooms.
- Quiet
- The service and the staff. Among the best I've stayed and also located in a quiet yet convenient location. Also very clean and comfortable.
Cons -
- The AC was already turned off for the season (?), so the unit in our room wouldn't blow cold and it was warm in our room unless we left the windows open.
- I did not understand that the breakfast was extra. I ate a little fruit and a piece of bread. For that l was charged $18, for a total of $54.
- Overall satisfied. Nothing to complain about.

It was clean
They didn't fix our toilet wouldn't refill their soap container. Front desk didn't care
Calm cozy
The rooms are super old and they need full renovation
Location
Hotel employee at front desk was very friendly and helpful
Location was good. Staff was very accommodating.
The rooms were very hot, air conditioning didn’t work very well.
The location was perfect, close to public transportation, restaurants and grocery. Exploring the neighborhood was enjoyable and interesting.
The property was conveniently located to a bus that connects to Marienplatx and the center of Munich. Parking is available and reasonably priced.
There was a very strong smoke smell upon arrival which can be irritating for those with allergies
The room where we finally ended up was comfortable.
Parking is expensive. Thermostats need clear instructions; not sure that they always work. Breakfast is absurdly expensive. There are many light switches that don’t do anything. There are no paper products in the kitchen. The first room that we had (with an upstairs) was incredibly hot in the sleeping area. We had to move rooms, which we are grateful that they allowed us to do.
location
Beds, it was told in booking.com one large bed but we got twin beds and the staff said they are not responsible for that
The old world feel and location near the Isar and Marienplatz, bus stops.
Nice staff, perfect location, spacious and clean room.
It was poorly lit. It was difficult to read and find things at night.
We could walk to where we wanted, great to have a fridge, every day new water bottles showed up there ( beer too, but we did not like it) so convenient to have a supermarket next door.
There was nothing not to like.
Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room lovely.
The bed was just ok and the space of the room was a bit small for the price.
Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Location is dam near perfect. The free beers each day also a nice touch :)
The Hotel was in a good location with a comfortable walking distance of about 15 minutes to the city centre. Munich is quite flat, so the walk was easy and enjoyable. There are parks along the way and almost right beside the hotel is the river. It was a scenic and pleasant stroll along its banks to the Deutches Museum which I would recommend, especially for the collection of musical instruments from Medieval times to the present day, including modern synthesizers and even a Beatles display.A small balcony overlooks a leafy courtyard.Right beside the Hotel was a comprehensive Supermarket and on the corner was a 24 hour shop attached to a petrol station.
It wasn't good to wake up to a very luke-warm shower, but the staff ensured that this was fixed within 24 hours. The kitchen bench space was small and cluttered, but fairly typical and reasonable for a hotel room. (It's not an apartment.)
Great breakfast, quiet and at a great location.
We were under the impression that the parking is free of charge, but we suspect that might be booking’s fault.
Nice hotel, quiet location.
Room key was difficult to open lock.
