Pros +
- Easy access, large room, comfy bed. Decent for an overnight but I would have hated being there any longer.
- Clean
- Nice, clean, close to the bus station. Very good for the money.
Cons -
- I didn't see a single person of the staff throughout my stay. The corridors were huge and bare, it felt like being in a health clinic rather than a hotel. There was a terrible smell in the common areas which thankfully was not in the bedroom.

Location
No lift, basic amenities in room
Very easy to park with neighborhood, clean room with big kitchen
Room had a coffee machine which was nice, also comfy bed and good shower.
Could be better decorated.
We had a large apartment which was more than enough for 5 persons. Large Kitchen well equipted. Lots of balcony space with a BBQ. The price was good value for money. The location was not so sexy, but we knew that as we looked for an affordable place not to far off the center of Munich. Within 30 minutes you are in Marienplatz through the excellent Munich public transport, for which you can get tickets online on your phone. Also the Indian restaurant next door in the same building is a good tip to go to!
In the Pegasus hotel you get exactly what you expect: a very clean - calm- family run- with all the basics - place to sleep. Rooms are all very similar with a desk, bedside lights, a coffee machine and a minimalist decor and furnishing. Rooms are warm and the en-suite has all you need. As our family lives around the corner the location is - for us- perfect too! Staff are always extremely friendly and helpful.
If you look for fancy or modern - this is not for you. The hotel is not central but is very well connected.
Nice and helpful young lady at the reception, that's why I'm not giving the worst rating.
My room smells like an ashtray, airing it out helped for about five minutes. The walls between the rooms are like paper, I could even hear my neighbor snoring.
Very helpful as always- very clean - quiet- comfortable.
Extremely friendly owner who offered to clean our toilet first so that we could wash up as we took an overnight bus and arrived early in the morning. He gave us suggestions about what to explore in Munich and recommended a nice place when we asked about tasting Bavarian cuisine. We even found a poker set in the cupboard which we enjoyed playing.
Very kind and friendly receptionist, host is easy to communicate with and willing to meet our needs. Hotel old school kind of, specious hallways but the room is rather small even though nothing was missing. Comfortable and very large double bed. Coffee machine Nespresso in the room.
Distinct smell of tobacco throughout the room but quite bad in towels. It's like they are stored somewhere in the smoking area before being brought to the room.
We visited munich during octoberfest, hence this was one of the available options.
Size of the room is very small, not worth the price paid
The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. Although they do not offer breakfast, they were not shy about pointing us where we could find a really good one. This is a perfect place to come with family. The balcony was an amazing surprise.
It was a bit far from the city center. However, it is well connected. One can get public transportation until around 02:00 AM.
There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and a tram/metro station about 15 minutes walk away, which provides access to the central station. This was OK for me because I like to walk. There are restaurants and grocery shops nearby. I was surprised to find a mini fridge in my room. The self check-in instructions were very helpful because I arrived late at the hotel.
The spring mattress makes noise when you lie down and you can also hear the noise from the street due to the thin walls.
It was good value for money - if you want luxury you have to pay for it , so it’s fair to say it was a budget hotel in a quiet area . There was traffic noise , but not excessive . It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was fair - it’s about 40 mins to Munich centre via either bus or train . Bus stop right outside the hotel and train station about 12 minute walk away . Overall a reasonable place to explore Munich
The curtains were not blackout and didn’t cover the whole windows . Our room was right next to the reception- though this didn’t cause us any problems.
Very nice place with good room placement. OK facilities in the rooms. Free water
No service in the evening. No private parking area. No cooling in the rooms. No vending machins, No space to heat water or cook for a baby.
I liked the location of it. Room had almost everything that you need if you stay for short period. Staff is really friendly and helpful.
I didn’t like that there was no airconditioning. Fortunately there was a fan. I didn’t like that check-in was in the afternoon. It would have been way easier for us if we could just check in at 11 in the morning or something. It just created a hussle for us and we were very tired because of it. Reception was only open in the afternoon. Design of the room is outdated.Overpriced room.
Location and staff were great
For the price you'd expect more, no breakfast on site
This hotel is in a suburban neighbourhood and for us it was perfect as it was close to the people we were visiting, but it is not close to tourist sites or near the freeway for visitors or those passing thru.
There was no one around, which is OK except we were notified by text as to how to get in and as we don’t have a mobile phone number that doesn’t keep changing we never got the text. Ideally we prefer getting emails which most hotels send. Anyway, it was worked out in the end.
