Pros +
- The location was great and check in/out was super easy. The room was large with a large bathroom which was nice. Everything was clean
- The hotel is located close to the train and subway station so it is convenient for day trips. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.
- room and bath room were bit small but enough for one night. Hotel's total image was characterized in Bavarian style and it was nice. Breakfast was excellent in volume and variation. Overall, we will definitely use again this Hotel!
Cons -
- The room smelled, the window was open because the heat was too warm and smelled. The bathroom was gross. The area around the hotel was loud with construction and people at night. The photos are deceiving, not sure how it gets good reviews! Terrible!
- This hotel DOESN'T have an elevator. If you end up on the top floor (4th, which is really the 5th floor in the USA), there are 85 steps up to the rooms. If you have heavy suitcases, this is a struggle.

Location, breakfast!
Trying to find it.
Very clean, tidy, cozy, and the location is great and central.
Breakfast was a great selection of German favorites!
No elevator or someone to carry baggage to room.
Location is very convenient to the HbF or the Central Bus Station
WiFi was very poor in my room.
The room is small, but warm and clean. Fine for business travels. Great location, just a small walk from the main railway station. The breakfast was really good!
I chose the Hotel Eder due to its proximity to the main station and it was indeed close and easy to find. It is in a quiet side street and it was indeed quiet all night. A friendly gentleman checked me in. The breakfast was a great German buffet.
The hotel was great, with an excellent location—close to the train station and the city center. It was clean, very comfortable, with a good shower and a bathroom with heated floors. The staff were friendly and attentive.
We didn’t find any negative points; however, we didn’t try the breakfast. We stayed on the first floor, so not having an elevator wasn’t a major issue (though it might have been if we were higher up).
Good location. Clean
Tiny room. No elevator. They put me in third floor. Wasn't easy to get there with a suitcase. Tiny room.
Nice compact room next to Munich central station. Clean beds and bathroom for a great price!
Good location close to old town and easy walk to rail station. Basic breakfast available. Easy check-in/out. Shower was warm and steady.
Alot of stairs to drag a suitcase up. Cleanliness was poor with spiderwebs on walls and under the bed was gross. Bathroom was tight.
Location and help was amazing
Maybe the size of the room for 3 beds
It is. Old building, need a lot maintenance. The price is to high with the value
The room, I reserved a couple room and give me a twins, with the contacts over the front bed, a lot a comfortable
Rooms were great. Bed was plenty comfortable. Breakfast wasn't bad the one day we chose to get it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were quite pleased with the property itself. The location was convenient to the Marienplatz and public transportation.
The location was in a pretty dirty part of Munich, but once you got inside it was great and quiet.
We had the family room which was on the fourth floor with no elevator. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious enough for a family of four. Breakfast was an additional cost which we did not purchase but the breakfast offerings looked good.
The hotel was very difficult to find, especially with the road construction in the area. The hotel was a short walk to Old Town (5-10 minutes) which was convenient but the neighborhood itself wasn't great. In the evenings there were a lot of people lingering outside smoking. We had an unpleasant experience with the staff regarding parking. There is no onsite parking so we parked in a city lot as instructed where we were supposed to receive a discounted rate. We did not receive the discounted rate and when we asked at the front desk they said that we must have parked in the wrong lot. There was no attempt to correct the issue for us.
Location close to the train station was perfect for our quick visit. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was fabulous. Thank you!
It was a bit hot in the room (no AC) but it cooled off over night with the windows open and a fan.
Very clean rooms and a great location. Staff were fantastic
Parking very difficult to find and cost £16 a day
