Lovely room, great breakfast, friendly staff.

Had to get a new wifi code each day which was inconvenient.

Location. Especially to tram stop. Breakfast was good .Very clean

I hated the fact that during my two nights there, I didn’t see One staff member, the only staff I saw was the lady at breakfast. It is the most impersonal place I’ve ever stayed in . Could hear the next rooms toilet being flushed . Rather off putting opening the room door,straight into the bathroom. The numbers on the pad for the code to get into the building were difficult to see in the dark

The bed was exceptional, very nice, good-sized room, very convenient location to the event I went to. I was requesting a quiet room, and although the hotel is just next to a tram line, I got one which was a bit further from the street facade, very grateful for that!

Bed was super comfy

No staff to help check in- everything was written in German- which if you dont speak/ read it... automated check in was really difficult .....Building works going on, so no lift.... had to help 2 older people with luggage up stairs. Only staff we saw was thr kitchen lady each morning.

The hotel is under construction, no elevator, working materials everywhere, I took an iron three floor by foot the discover it’s out of order, I would let clearly know clients the hotel is at that stage!!!

Wonderful staff helped us to check in after a very long flight. Comfortable room with wonderful amenities. Impeccably clean. Would highly recommend.

I've stayed at the sorrel Rex hotel before and I had booked for 10 days over Christmas. I got confirmation and when I arrived at the hotel, I was told there was no reservation and then after insisting that I have gotten confirmation, they looked and said they changed my booking to one of their other hotels because they were closed over Christmas, which is ridiculous because I had booked well in advance and gotten confirmation to stay over Christmas. I just found that this was really unprofessional, I was given no advance notice. I've loved the hotel in the past and would really like to stay there again, but I was extremely disappointed. I did stay at one of their sister hotels The Rutli which was lovely. The staff was very accommodating in the hotel was nice.

The breakfast was good

The check in process was self check in and I came at night so the receptionist was on the phone not an actual person there. Two nights without seeing any one at the front desk! Everything remotely managed

A really nice hotel located in a quiet and calm area, with very convenient tram access to both the city centre and Zurich Airport. I especially want to mention Anna from the staff — she is truly exceptional. She manages breakfast, reception queries, and helps guide tourists, all with a polite, friendly, and supportive attitude.We were very disappointed after missing the chance to book Lindt Home of Chocolate tickets, but Anna helped us secure them through the hotel, which felt like a blessing — we appreciated that a lot. The breakfast area is spacious with plenty of food options, and everything was very good.Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.

After all of those stays i can give 8 out of 10.Mostly the the best staff ever met..Definitely see you soon and going to recommend to every one we know.

The bathroom was very small, and the sink was so poorly designed, with the cabinet right above it, that you practically had to do acrobatics just to brush your teeth.Also, the final price was not the same as stated on Booking. We were charged an extra 1 CHF per person per day for something related to a climate fee.

The hotel is very cosy, clean and warm. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is quite near the central train station. It was the perfect location for visiting most of Zurich Christmas markets.

Simply nothing

As a couple it’s our first time in Zurich. We spent 3 nights at this Hotel. Room #408Location: Very good 8/10, The hotel is located close to nearby attractions, old town, tram stop, restaurants, patisseries, cafes, groceries and central train station (Haupt Bahnhof) etc. There is easy access via tram from airport or 15 min. away by car. Especially walking downhill from hotel is easy to reach heart of the city within 10 min. walking distance.Check-in & out: Easy and smooth 10/10, there is free coffee, tea, water, croissants, fruits 7/24 at lobby. I advise you to follow all online instructions before reaching the hotel for electronic entry and main gate pass.Personnel: Overall very kind and helpful 10/10.Room: Room is quite large comparing to “Swiss standards”, comfortable and modern. Some basic toiletries including slippers are, however, not available. We didn’t need A/C in this season, so no comment. Heating is excellent. Daily cleaning was timely and excellent. WC/shower area is clean & modern. Excellent sleep quality, bed, pillow, quilt, and mattress 10/10. There is safe, minibar with additional costs, umbrella, yoga mat, enough charging ports, etc. The sound isolation could be a problem, if other guests were not respectful.Common spaces: 8/10, it’s a tiny boutique-size hotel, so don’t expect too much.Wi-Fi: 10/10Security: 8/10, reception is only available until 17:00Overall hygiene: 10/10Overall: Our experience was 9/10 and we will consider staying in this hotel again on our future trips.

Food: 7/10 good, satisfactory breakfast, but it could be better.
