Engimatt City & Garden Hotel

Great location, generous breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and nice rooms.

I thought I had paid for the stay entirely upon booking, but at check out I was charged a tax.

I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the cleanliness at Engimatt City & Garden Hotel — both were truly excellent.

But a few things really took away from the experience: the breakfast was extremely basic for a hotel in this category, the work desk in the room didn’t even have a chair, and the TV was strangely installed facing the bathroom instead of the bed. These details made the stay feel less comfortable than it should have been.

Everything! The staff were very polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. And the location was fantastic!

Very clean and modern property. We really loved everything. Great staff, especially Mr.Anastasiadis who responded exceptionally to multiple requests we had. Highly recommend it!

The room temperature was fixed at 21 degrees Celsius, which we couldn’t manually change. It felt kinda cold for us. However Mr.Anastasiadis provided it us immediately with a portable heater that solved the issue.

My room wasn’t clean. I had to change two rooms before getting one good.

The room was very nice with good taste and clean. The bed was very comfortable.The breakfast was good The hotel personnel was very polite and friendly I strongly recommend this hotel

Near to city center

The two staff working in breakfast room (6th april) were so rude ( I may also believe that they behave like a racist). We were warned to eat quick and to be quite with two kids. They said there will be branch time so eat and leave. That is a hotel breakfast room. Not a school or church. We are with two children. We did not make any noise.Customers and booking.com have to know the racist behaviour of this two woman. Before booking this hotel, I read bad feedbacks regarding this hotel breakfast staff but does not expected this kind of bad.The Enginatt Garden manager should ask to me for details or check cameras for those staffs threatens.

I loved the location it was a short tram or train journey. The breakfast room is relaxing.

Very good staffs. Comfortable & spacious room with nice bathroom. Great location and convenient!

The heating system was limited to 20C, which is not sufficient. But the staff supported with an electro heater, that solved the issue.

Quiet location that’s not too far from city

The room we got was a little smaller and didn’t have a bath compared to the one we stayed in a few days earlier although this is more expensive. The bathroom ran out of shampoo (found out while showering) and we were given 2 small bottles of shampoo after we called the reception.

The hotel is located a few stops from the city and is quiet. We got a room that has mountain views (also thanks to the clear weather during our stay). The room is spacious enough for my baby to crawl around.

The room was quite spacious for 3 adults and 1 infant. It was very clean and chic! The breakfast had a lot of varieties and tasty items.

Location very nice, it is close to the center of Zurich. Very easy to travel to anywhere.

Staff. I am an Asian guy. It is very clear that the staff made a bias for my family.For meals, they did not provide breads for us, but they did for others.Also, they urged us to turn down the video volumes but in the meanwhile, others were chatting loudly in the room.During the room cleaning, one said something like "we are clean not like ppl in your country". I do not believe it came from a hotel staff.Overall, I could easily feel this kind of racial discrimination. Very bad experience.
