Superior East Wing Rooms by FIVE Zurich

•Great location: Only about 10 minutes from downtown, which made it easy to explore the city.•Smooth check-in: The process was quick and hassle-free.•Cleanliness: The room and bathroom were both clean and well-maintained.•Comfortable bed: The bed was cozy and provided decent sleep when the room temperature allowed it.•Good facilities: The hotel has nice amenities that add value to the stay.

•Very small room: The space was too tight, making it hard to move around comfortably.•No air conditioning: This was a major issue. The whole building lacks proper AC. During my stay, it was extremely hot, and the room felt unbearable. I had to request a fan, which only helped a little.•Poor room service food: I tried several items from the in-room dining menu, but unfortunately, none of them met expectations — very disappointing.•Unreliable luggage service at check-out: I had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to collect my luggage. With my driver arriving in just a few minutes.•Useless wardrobe space: The closet was incredibly small and impractical. Even as a solo guest, I couldn’t fit my clothes inside properly — and the door wouldn’t even close. I can’t imagine how two guests would manage.•Malfunctioning safe box: Upon check-in, the in-room safe wasn’t working. I reported it right away, but it wasn’t fixed until the third day of my stay. This should’ve been checked and addressed before a guest checks in — basic hospitality.Conclusion:Despite a few positives, the negatives—especially around comfort, storage, temperature, and basic in-room functionality—outweighed the good parts. I would not stay here again, and I gave it a 3-star rating.

Rooms are good

Noise in the room from aircondition and refrigrator and the response to deal with it was very slow.Bad behaivior from some of the reception staff.No place for travelling bag.Wrong calculation of my final invoice, I sent a comblaint to them and waiting for their answer.

The best service in all of Zurich. I had complex luggage requirements because my parents over packed and they more than accommodated us to help make our multi country trip easy. The house cleaning was perfect. Felt like a second home. 5 stars to Amindra and Maria for making everything easy on us.

Amindra and Maria were a star team helping my elder parents with complex needs and kindness. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Zurich.

HQ should invest in longer shower glass but it’s really not a big deal. The house cleaning is great so it all works out.

The decor was lovely. The facilities were great, lovely spa area we enjoyed for an hour, pretty much had the place to ourselves!Coffee in rooms were nice.Staff were very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was amazing!We had kind of a nice view of Zurich outside our window.Fancy bed and sheets.Train stop near the front of the hotel.Nice green walks around the hotel.Interior decor of restaurants and bars in main building are beautiful, the staff are very well trained (shame about some of the customers)Food on menus very reasonable price from Zurich.Being able to check out from East Wing instead of the main building was great.Absolutely get the breakfast!

The location of our room was accessed through an underground 1/4km tunnel, interesting!The size of the room is too small, as os the bathroom. Any 2 people sharing over who's over 165cm tall will struggle with the size of the room and bathroom, knocking my elbows more times there than on a roller coaster! Dried my hair in the corridor area as nowhere else to do it.Not enough shelves, hooks, or anywhere to do your makeup/hair.*Getting to the hotel from the train stop is difficult and not sign posted at all. This is a big drawback and needs changing. We were walking around literally in circles with a heavy case, trying to locate the reception!!! Please change this. You should encourage people to use public transport to access your hotel and make it easy to locate and access. It's 2025 guys in the middle of a lush green place, please think about eco-friendly ways to travel to and from FIVE!*

Would be nice if the hotel itself put full glass separators in the show to prevent a little water splashing out, but the Ritual Soaps and body lotions and high quality service make up for the little inconvenience. Just put a towel down.

Good hotel we liked the decor, very bright and very clean. Constantly saw staff who were all helpful. Good spa and great sauna. Very clean spa.Bed was comfortable. Requested breakfast at 5:40 am to go and hotel was on time and very generous with portion sizes!! Food was fresh!Dropped us of down the hill when asked.Overall very good

Great service and amazing team and I always love to book the rooms in East Wing and great team there to lookafter me .I like indoor swimming pool and Myself and my husband always Enjoying Five Hotel.Amindra Manager and his team Vanshika,Abin were looking after us .Shuttle service Team also friendly and helpful to drive us to the main building. The hotel is very nice rooms also

Its in a residential neighborhood, if you are in the east wing you are in the housing projects , staff super unprofessional, super rude , lost 2 of our hoodies that was on the bags , took them 4 hours to bring rhe bags to room because they lost them , restaurant is ok but super super overpriced, location is so so , it just doesn’t cost on what they are asking for it .

Anna from Reception ,1 lady from the restaurant and the guest service guy are the gem in Amazing Rooms..and yes, their rooms are amazing indeed.

The receptionist was really nice and gave us a free upgrade. The room and the restaurants were lovely as well.

I stayed again a couple days later and the staff wasn’t as friendly as the ones this night.

The main issue was the check out when staff of the hotel couldn’t find the payment confirmation when everything was paid via Booking. I had to call to Booking personally, otherwise I would be late to my flight. Very disappointed.

Gurtej is very good here in reception very professional, I loved the game room and pool here.

The hotel was beautiful, very chic, and elegant.

We had a problem with the bathroom flooded , the shower drain was clogged. They said it was fixed, it was not, we needed to change rooms, then the TV didn’t work and they didn’t had any maintenance at night. They finally gave 1 of our rooms 1 night free.
