Pros +
- very friendly staff. great location. nice and quiet but right near all the good stuff
- The location is fantastic! Very convenient to walk around and see many attractions. Tram is easy to get to/from the train station and we took a short walk to a bus that drops you off right at the Lindt Chocolate Museum. Very kind and helpful staff.
- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Marianne at the front desk was our family's guardian angel. Our child had an accident that required medical care, and Marianne helped arrange it all. She went above-and-beyond, finding a doctor's office / hospital, organizing the transportation, calling ahead, etc. I don't know what we'd have done without Marianne. She is an amazing person. (And the hotel is great too -- the location is perfect, rooms are good, and the lounge on the first floor was a nice touch.)(PS: I'm sorry I kept calling you "Marion" Marianne! I didn't realize it was "Marianne" until I saw the other reviews on here that mentioned you. :) )
Cons -
- the room was a bit small and had a dormer ceiling that I kept hitting my head on!!
- The parking garage is a few blocks from the hotel, but you can load/unload in front of the hotel. It didn't bother us, but it might be a consideration for some.
- Slight step up to enter the room, and another to enter the bathroom. Could be a trip hazard. Also, glass shower enclosure could have been longer to better contain water.

Location, location, location, attentive service, beautifully served excellent breakfast
Super practical location to explore the old town. Efficient and pleasant staff, comfortable and clean room, and a good breakfast with healthy options. Feels like a family-owned hotel. Our teenager was with us, and the daybed was comfortable and proper (which is always a challenge when traveling as 3 grown people), and the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us. We will certainly be coming back!

Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and quiet. Good shower.

We booked two rooms for our party of 5. Both rooms were spacious and well appointed. We ended up paying for the breakfast, which was delicious. It might seem like a lot initially, but for Zurich-it is a good deal.
Great location, staff are friendly, comfortable beds.
Clean and good location. Nice staff.
Very simple. Lobby feels like a hostile.
The location is fantastic. It is in the heart of the old town, equal distance to all directions. Staff is extremely helpful, we arrived well earlier than we anticipated and she offered us some kind of early check-in.
Nothing we didn't like.
The location was perfect, the staff went out of their way to help us locate good restaurants, shuttle to the airport etc. The breakfast and the breakfast staff were above expectations! Would definitely stay there again!!
Nothing!
Conveniently located. Cleanliness. Super friendly staff.
All was very good
We checked out early and were going to miss the breakfast. The desk clerk prepared a to go breakfast for us to take on train. Also, the room was larger than we expected and had a lovely view of square and lake in the distance.
Excellent location, wonderful staff, great breakfast. Not cheap, but worth it
The hotel is excellently located right in the city center. You can reach the luxury stores by crossing two small bridges. There are plenty of dining and drinking options nearby, and the scenery along the Limmat River is particularly beautiful. The staff on the first floor are extremely nice and friendly. They offered a great deal of help. I will definitely stay here again next time I come.
It's a relatively ancient building. The elevator is quite small, only allowing one person to carry one or two pieces of luggage at a time. Others have to take the stairs. However, this is something that can be overcome.
This is a great location, great room- very spacious and great amenities from the robes to the lotion! Loved the Helmhaus!
Breakfast should’ve been included and the reception needs to be more informative about train travel- but that was ok- we figured everything out!!!
Good breakfast.Excellent location
Interior decoration in the room, somewhat too sterile
The location, wonderful staff and excellent quality are hard to beat. This was a wonderful stay. The staff are super friendly, the location is perfect, the amenities are spot on and the breakfast/tea/coffee environment are simply perfect. Just a wonderful stay! Thank you
The cost is steep. You get what you pay for, but the conversion of currency and the high prices of the city, makes it an expensive stay.
Staff was fantastic as we checking out at 4am next morning and the staff made us a doggy bag breakfast on the night.
Room is a little bite small
The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants and shopping as well as the Christmas Market. Most other things were in easy walking distance. I found the staff was warm, friendly and helpful.
Considering the price of the hotel, I was expecting a nicer and more comfortable room. I found the room small and with twin beds. I had requested a queen size bed. Also, the room was a little noisy with all the outside activities going late into the night.
