Hotel Marta - 1950's architecture in Zurich's vibrant old town, near main station

The location in the old town was close to the train station, restaurants, and the sights we wanted to see in Zurich. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While there wasn't a huge variety of items on the breakfast, everything was fresh and tasty. Our room and the hotel were very clean.

Our room was very small, but it worked fine for the one night we were in Zurich.

Location was excellent. So close to the Zurich HB and old city. I stayed at another place in Zurich and wish I had stayed here instead! The room and bathroom was much more spacious, and the best was the breakfast! It gets quite expensive for food costs in Zurich so having something small like that to start your day in Zurich was necessary! Location was also nice and quiet for a good nights rest and we were on the top floor so it was a beautiful view of the city

Bar directly across the street. Can get loud at night. Hotel windows are thick & block the noise but if you want to sleep with the windows open it will be noisy. Hotel did provide ear plugs which worked well.

Clean comfortable room for 3 people. Great location & helpful staff. Loved the water & coffee machine in the lobby. Free breakfast was a nice feature

Good value, very conveniently located, quick walk with bags to the train station. Nice breakfast and dining room.

Checking in to the hotel after hours was a little tricky.

Nothing that hotel could control, the bar across the way was very noisy late into the evening. Hard to close window when it was a very warm/hot day into evening. Just beware.

Easy check in after hours, very clean, good hot water pressure, extremely bare bones room.

No A/C, had to open a window but there was a lively bar scene outside, they actually provide ear plugs because they know how loud it is. One fan provided. Soap dispenser fell off the wall in the middle of the night.

Staffs are friendly and helpful.Room is just nice.

There was no Kettle to boil water in the room; have to go to Lobby to collect hot water.My friends' room was near the road so they commented about noise at night.Breakfast variety too few; not much selection.

The location was excellent…could walk from…and to…train station easily with rolling suitcase. And in a part of Zurich that was vibrant and easy to walk to old city landmarks. Rooms were large. Quiet except for tram.going by. Rooms ready when we arrived early though we could have left them in a locked room if they hadn’t been.

Slow, small elevator, but that is expected. The rumble of the trams, but that quieted at night. Not really a great view out the window…just buildings across the street. I know it was a ‘50’s vibe, but lacked a bit of coziness,

Its clean and peaceful, accessible, and also the staff Ms. Oliasa was very accommodating, welcoming, helpful and kind.

Small toilet and bath

The price/value ratio is excellent. The staff is kind, there is a sufficient breakfast selection, and the rooms are clean. Don't forget to rate the performance to the price.

Transportation voice.

Location was the best, views from room 703 showed us a panoramic of Zurich, staff was good, a place to recommend.

Short walk from the train station. Great location in old town Zurich. Great breakfast.

Accommodations met our needs. Nothing to dislike.

The noise!!! Earplugs were provided in our room but noise from surrounding venues was horrible. We got no sleep at all. Would not recommend staying here. And no television in room.

I really liked the staff - specially Alica. She went above and beyond to assist us during our stay.The breakfast is pretty basic.

Our room were not cleaned daily. The bed wasn’t made. Alica did try to help by bringing us extra towels the next day. My husband found a rotten egg during breakfast from the boiled egg section.
