The rooms are clean and the sheets are nice

Two words. No AC. I probably would not stay here again because of that.

The room was alright and the people were nice

Location - surrounded by the night clubs, not safe after dark and very very dirty right in front of the building with homeless people living in the stairs by the door lock. There was trash and flies everywhere. Everyone was smoking. No receptionist when the hours said there should be one. Our bed assignment was slept in. We had to pay for sheets per person but we were using one bed.

There was nothing that I liked about this hostel. It was by far the worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life and the neighborhood was absolutely terrible. There was trash everywhere and the street was filled with drug dealers and prostitutes. There was no fan or A/C in my room which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. The bed itself wasn’t uncomfortable but the overall environment definitely was. I would not recommend this hostel to anybody ever.

There was absolutely nothing about this hostel that I liked.

The owner slept on the kitchen table and if u came back late you had to knock on the door to wake him up from the table.

It's ugly, small, not enough bathrooms, noisy, they charge sheets, blankets and towels and smell weird. The location is a bit scary. There's no privacy because you can't lock the doors. The staff entered the room often when we arrived, the pictures are not accurate.

It's like a cheating when you reserved this hostel but then they forwarded you to another hostel.

I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOSTEL TO ANYONE!!! THE HOSTEL OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL!!!It's like a cheating when you reserved this hostel but then they forwarded you to another hostel. When I arrived at the station, I needed to walked over 1km to reach the hostel. But then, they said that the hostel was full and we would need to move to another hostel which was close to the station. And I needed to walk again to the starting point at the station. Once, I arrived at the new hostel, I found there was no elevator which was available at the initial hostel and was important when I had decided to reserve. I called the hostel owner that I wanted to go back to the hostel that I reserved. The hostel owner said they couldn't bc the rooms were full occupied and promised he would help to come early the next morning to carry down the 2 big suitcases. But then he disappeared, no answer phone call, no reply, no excuse. What's a bad service I have had experienced. AND THEY CHARGED US 10E FOR BED SHEETS. What's a crazy thing that they had never mentioned when we reserved, and I have never seen it before.

Close to the center, friendly staff and clean bedsheets and towels.

They charge you additional 10 euro once you arrive to the property for “city tax and bedsheets” - making it not worth booking since you can get better hostel for same price. Some people live in the hostel full time, they put their staff everywhere and it’s cluttered because of that. One guy had a whole tv and PlayStation installed in his bed. One bathroom for the whole hostel so there are queues. Also it’s just outdated.

Location is closed to the train station

I was supposed to get a room with my wife, but I realized it was a hostel; it was mixed between male and female, which I think is a bit out of bounds for us. Luckily the hostel reorganization, with my wife sleeping with the girls' room only and me sleeping in a male shared room.

The guy in the reception was nice.They gave me a room in another apartment which was super close to the main train station.It was quite clean

I had a great 2 night stay, close to many things I desired as a traveler. Very walkable city and a wonderful river runs through. The facilites were clean, staff was friendly and the location was safe although panhandlers were around, sometimes.

I didn't love the panhandlers.

I loved the location to the train station. I had EVERYTHING I needed from Aldi to trains to water access on the sea, bus stops all around, it was great.

The exact neighborhood was a magnet for panhandlers but so many major cities are impacted by this. Otherwise, late nights restaurants, bars, cafes and minute markets were all over near the hostel.

The staff was pretty nice, greetings to Oscar and the owner!, the location might give you a wrong vibe of what it really is. It’s not even dangerous, just a “curious” city block tho :) you can chill, no need to actually worry about! Best Cheap option in center, next to train station (Hauptbahnhof). Enjoy the city!

The owner and the manager were great people. Very kind and professionals

Oscar!!! makes this place a toxic one. He works there and lives there as well. Very unprofessional as he gets comfortable with you he starts to make advances of every kind. Making the environment toxic and uncomfortable. Be mindful of his approach. I checked out earlier because of him.
