The Holiday Inn Express Lisboa - Av. Liberdade is a comfortable accommodations choice set in Lisbon's center. Liberdade Avenue is a 4-minute walk and is home to some of the trendiest shops and fashion houses in the city. All air-conditioned rooms are nonsmoking and include free WiFi access, flat-screen cable TV, private bathroom and an electric kettle. Complementary coffee and tea is provided. A varied breakfast buffet is available each day at the Holiday Inn Express. For more meal options, guests can stroll through the Liberdade Avenue, which features a variety of restaurants and cafés serving traditional Portuguese meals and international dishes. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge bar, where refreshing drinks are served. The Marquês de Pombal Square is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Lisbon’s nightlife in the Bairro Alto is a 5-minute drive away, with all its bars and cafés. The Chiado is a 7-minute drive and features plenty of local cafés and shops for guests to browse. Another nearby historical area is the Rossio, just a 4-minute drive away. The Marquês de Pombal Metro Station is 1148 feet from the property and connects with most of the Lisbon area. - Breakfast is good. Location is good.
- Decent location. Breakfast was very good.
- This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is perfect (located in the center near all the designer stores, walking distance to everything), he staff is amazing, and the rooms are very clean. I definitely recommend staying here!
Cons -
- Hotel has centralized heating/air conditioning which is only heat during February. This made the rooms very hot and it was impossible to sleep. Can¿t open windows due to loud traffic and constant loud beeping of crosswalk audible signal.
- Room is too hot. There is no individual room control for air conditioning or heating. Room was very stuffy with no airflow. It is way too loud on the street to leave the windows open for ventilation. Hotel is great, except you can¿t sleep
- There was very limited storage in the room with no drawers anywhere despite there being space to put a few.
