The Candia Hotel offers comfortable accommodations at affordable rates within walking distance of some of Athens’s top attractions. All of the Candia Hotel's rooms feature air conditioning, free WiFi, a mini fridge and a flat-screen TV. Larger rooms include balconies overlooking the city. Some offer views of the Acropolis. Candia Hotel offers a restaurant and a bar, cafeteria, breakfast hall and a meeting room. The hotel features a rooftop plunge pool. The Candia Hotel is located within walking distance of the National Archaeological Museum. The hotel is between 2 metro stations (Larissis and Metaxourgeio) and opposite the Central Railway Station of Athens.

- The location was close to the train station and the rooftop bar and pool was nice as well.

Cons -
- its not a 4 star hotel, period. It is a misrepresentation to list as that. Maybe in 1980 it was a 4 star but its A 2 STAR, AT BEST. Visit the hotel and rethink the rating.
- I felt the hotel wasn't satisfying on any level. The hotel was outdated, unsatisfactory and nothing like what was presented via pictures at all. It was dark upon entry. The hallway lighting was dim. The room, had three twin beds and the bathroom was old!
- the room is tiny. The lights sometimes worked, sometimes not. THERE IS NO SHUTTLE FROM THE AIRPORT AS WAS FALSELY ADVERTIZED.
