- Rooms are small
- Hotel staff could not speak English. We tried to communicate through translator app; however it did not help much. However, staff was very friendly and helped in possible ways.No instruction given for check out or how to drop keys; so we left at reception as we left pretty early. They allowed us to do early check in as room was available. That was nice.

It was our fourth stay here: wonderful, clean family hotel, very close to Schonbrunn Gardens and Castle and to restaurants area. We enjoyed our stay here each time!
Location
The staff wasn’t friendly at all. it’s an old hotel, the towels were disgusted dirty and you can hear every single noise. The bathroom sink was the smallest I have ever seen. The only good thing was that they let us leave our luggage after we check out without any charge.
Close to the Zoo.
Limited parking facilities. Rooms require renovation.
Very good located directly at Schönbrunn and U4 Hietzing with no main road traffic
if you plan to work get a mousepad for the glass table, breakfast starts to late for business.
Perfect location. The U4 metro takes you to almost every Palace, museum and park.
The breakfast was very very poor for 15€ per person. I was charged 30€ extra for a couple of hours early check-in.
Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, very good location (just 2 minutes from Schönbrunn garden)Family friendly hotel.
Hotel Viktoria has a great location and the room that we stayed was cozy with nice view and beds were super comfortable.
We really liked that the pastries were fresh and warm at breakfast. The hotel is calm and quiet. Great, that there is an elevator. Metro and Schönbrunn is really close, that was why we chose this place.
Not much. The extra bed was really uncomfortable. But the double was great.
The staff was really kind and the room was clean. Also the location is great!
The breakfast was very basic and not really what I expected. My room was facing the street which made it quite loud at night with an open window. The blanket was a little thin for the colder nights in winter!
Close to the Metro and to Cafe and restaurants
Great location if you want to stay close to the palace. Also the metro station is just a minute away. The place itself is old, but well maintained and really spacious. Loved it.

The location of the hotel is great - it's near Schonbrunn palace and the Zoo. It's also super near to a subway station. The staff at the reception was incredibly hospitable and helpful. The room was clean.
Just one small thing - there was water left in the electric kettle from previous guests and it didn't look recent, which stopped me from using it.
We liked the location as it is close to the subway and other public transport and around you can find quite a few places where you can eat. It was our choice mostly because it is very close to the Schonnbrun Zoo and Palace and also the price was decent.
1.Staff not friendly or welcoming. They don't speak english. We tried to communicate with them prior arival in writting and they didn't understand that we wanted a stroller. In person it was even more difficult.2. Don't buy breakfast, it is extremly poor.3. We traveled with our 3 yo son and we had a small incident - he wet the bed a little on our second night there. In the morning we explained what happened at the reception and asked to have the sheets on the bed changed. We came back to the room later in the evenibf and found a new sheet folded and put on the side of the bed but the old stained sheet wasn't changed so we slept on the dirty sheet our last night there.4. The furniture is very old.5. The room that we stayed in was next to the street and it was noisy due to traffic even when the window was closed. As we traveled in July we needed to have the windows open but the noise was pretty bad.As a conclussion, if you are a solo traveler it might worth because of the location and the decent price (we paid around 96 euro/night), but for leasure and especialy traveling as a family, I don't recimmend.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great - really close to Schloss Schönbrunn and also to a subway station from which Vienna city center/main station are easily accessible. We also loved the building in which the hotel is located - very beautiful and classical. If I return to Vienna, I will definitely stay here again if possible!
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming and friendly and even welcome us with a ginger bread cookie which was a lovely surprise! The beds was especially comfortable and the bathroom was very clean! The hotel is very close to a lot of local cafes, restaurants and a supermarkets which was great, especially if you want to immerse yourself in the local cuisine and at a cheaper rate compared to the prices in the city Center!! Lastly, the hotel was very close to bus, trams and train stations which was great to travel into the city Center.
Nothing!!! It was a great experience.
A lovely historical property that has been renovated to very high standards. The room and bed were great, heating in the room and bathroom was much appreciated in December. Ladies at the reception helped with directions and phone charger. There are a couple of Italian restaurants plus an Asian one and a bakery which were great for meals. Metro to the city is a 3 minute walk away.
I didn’t understand why 2 narrow blankets are given for a double bed - it was impossible to keep them on our bodies throughout the night and would inevitably fall off the bed several times during the night ?; not ideal on cold nights..
The ladies who run the reception are really lovely. They can’t do enough for you . The bedrooms are immaculate , comfy, clean and warm. The beds are huge. The hotel was in an ideal position for the underground into central Vienna . The local area was very friendly, a nice few bars and restaurants.
