Pros +
- Excellent location: a metro station to the city center right outside (meaning a 10 minute ride to most of the main attractions) + <5 minute walk away from the Central Train Station (to the airport and other destinations) Room, bathrooms, showers, and common rooms were cleanGreat WiFi Some convenience: outlets in bed and towel provided Item security in bed: I put my suitcase into my bed on top of a sheet the hostel provided and locked my bed. I generally felt safe about my things when they were locked in the bed. Staff's openness to improvement (hopefully)Tips with the numbers: 0#/0# means what room you're in/what bed you're in; the 9-digit code is your bed code
- Great hostel in city center near Wien Hbf. Very easy check-in and check-out.
- Great location, close to everything.Billa supermarket near by. Transportation close to the place and all the main places. We were a couple who took private room.
Cons -
- Several guests left this hostel to move to other hostels while in Vienna. Take from that what you will.Cold: The hostel is cold in the winter with no central heating, and the staff won't acknowledge it or do anything about it, like add space heaters. I had to wear a coat to sleep the first night, but I thankfully adjusted to the cold by the second night. Several guests while I was there had the same issues.Unresponsive staff: They're here for your money and that's it—after you arrive, there's little to no support, even if you speak German. I personally didn't have trouble receiving the check-in information and post check-in room information and figuring out the room and bed codes, but during my say, there were 3 people who never received their room information after checking in due to a technical issue. They may have had to stay in the common area overnight.Unclear and inconsistent communication and expectations: We receive detailed information in some regards, like check-in and security warnings, but not in other ways. It was unclear which bedding was unclean and which was our responsibility for making. For example, the pillow looks like it was already made and had a pillowcase, but after I smelled it, I realized it was the actual pillow. There also needs to be a sign requesting guests to be considerate and quietly close their bed doors because they're super loud.Room door and bed loudness: When some people would open their bed doors, it sounded like thunder. Pretty disruptive. Opening the door to the room was loud.Beds weren't 100% clean: Other guests and I discovered that pillows and quilts were unwashed with hair left over.Security: Beware of weird guests. Most guests in my room were fine, but someone from another room came in and messed with someone's things.Showers: I personally had plenty of hot water in the morning and afternoon, but some people didn't. I'm guessing it runs out?
- There was no receptionist, staff or security there. Just the cleaning lady. So you don't get that reassurance being there.
- What i didn’t like is the sliding door of the bed making a noisy sounds when your roommate go to pee in the middle of the night it will disturb your deep sleep.

Great hostel in city center near Wien Hbf. Very easy check-in and check-out.

It was always clean a neat. It's Central and has the main station right in front.
There was no receptionist, staff or security there. Just the cleaning lady. So you don't get that reassurance being there.
I like about the property is very near in the metro and bus station.
What i didn’t like is the sliding door of the bed making a noisy sounds when your roommate go to pee in the middle of the night it will disturb your deep sleep.
Location - excellentCheck-in process - easy as can be done online
Facilities - can have more toilet bowls considering the number of people staying in the hostel, sometimes the pin code to access the room doesn't work well need to wait awhile before it is alrightWe did not see any reception opened when we came on Christmas day and the subsequent daysBedsheets, blanket covers and pillow cases were provided but we had to put it on ourselves
- the bed is fully covered, just like a capsule hotel. Each bed has a pin on it.- the bathroom is super clean! The toilet and shower are separated.- kitchen and common room are superb! Very comfy for enjoying food and reading a book. - the luggage room is free.- the location is very good! Close to stores, restaurants, and even the metro station is right in front of the hotel!
- no heater in the room! I stayed in the room 1, which was very close to the outside.- I didnt expect to make my own bed, bcs I didnt read all the information correctly bfr booking.- no locker, you have to sleep with your bag. The room is not that big.
Very nice, no-hassle hostel for short stays. Stayed in a 4-bed dorm wirh nice and polite fellow-travellers.
Did not see any staff.
-check in process was fairly seamless-the cleaning lady, she kept the place immaculate-felt safe and secure with security cameras-plenty of showers and toilets-3 minutes away from train station
-room was small for 4 people-sliding door railing was a bit painful getting in and out of bed. Mattress could be thicker,
Location is good and everything clean
Getting hard sometime in sleeping bed but it safe
It was very clean and conveniently close to the main station. I had a great experience and highly recommend staying here
My friend and I booked together, but we ended up being assigned different rooms, which was quite disappointing. When I asked the staff, they explained that all the rooms were already booked, even though I made the reservation two weeks earlier
Location, Cleanliness, Support staff, Nice lounge, Self Checkin process. We had initially booked another property but unfortunately the owner of that property (Apartmán vo Viedn) was a fraud. Fortunately there was a private room available in Do Step Inn, which was nearby so we made a booking there for 2 nights on the very same day we landed. The help desk was very helpful and responsive to all our queries and the hostel was very clean. There was a lady caretaker who was very very helpful. We were able to keep our luggage, cook food and wait in the lounge until the check-in time.Hostel is just 5 min away from the Vienna Main Railway Station and 1 min from Metro.
The only 2 things which bothered us were, the room was quite cold and we weren't aware the kitchen door closes at 12am and opens at 6am, we had to travel at 5:30 am the next day and couldn't get water in the morning since the kitchen was closed which was a little inconvenient but other than that, everything was quite good
The room and amenities is good and clean.
It doesn't mean that i didn't like because its new for me to book self service but so far it's good and nice.
Near to public transport stations. Facilities is very nice everything you’ll need will be available.
Should be strict at late night, need to be quiet even starting 10pm specially in sharing bed. Because my roommate talking loud even late at night.
I really appreciated the excellent location right across from Wien HBF station – perfect for my Jio roaming activation and quick access to EMBL/Gregor Mendel Institute during my Austria trip. The self-check-in process was smooth and contactless, ideal for late arrivals after flights, and the lockable bunk beds provided great privacy and security
The self-service check-in lacked staff presence during late hours.
Excellent service, it’s located close to the main train station. Everything is clean and there are some food shops nearb
Design fully secure. Digitalize
Room fresher, some guests have no proper hygiene.
It's clean.beds are inside wood boxes and you have to use key code to open room and bed doors .Good for a night to catch early train next day. It's right outside station.
Problems with key code sent by email. No personnel at all in the Hostel to help at 3.00pm. I have no phone line so I couldn't call them up for help. Had to wait in empty kitchen until some other guest tried to check in and had same issue with key code. She called them up and sent us both our key code manually.Lots of Homeless around area. Some sneak in to kitchen area to sleep there at night. They steel food from fridge and luggage from luggage room.I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY THERE I didn't feel safe nor comfortable sleeping there for 3 nights. I was glad to leave.Very far from City center, around 40 minutes walk.
Easy to reach, no need to have a reception nor talk to people. Perfect for solo travelers.
The lock in my pod didn’t work properly.
A little high price but location is really good.Location and one more location.
High price for shared bath , kitchen , toilet. At night was noisy, its in the first floor and you hear if someone walks or talks outside, in case if your sensitive buy ear plugs if you don't have another option to stay.
