Best Western Plus Celebrity Suites

Was very pleased with it, 25 minutes / 30 Euro Uber from the airport, close to U! subway line and the river front, fully renovated in April 22, high quality materials/ furniture used, very comfortable on the budget side.

Dishwasher was beeping and there were no instructions in English on how to turn it off

The staff are friendly, the room is spacious, the temperature is great and easy to adjust via the AC unit in the room and the heaters. Breakfast is great. The location of the hotel is also good near lots of supermarkets, a famous church, and the metro.

The property didn’t do any room cleaning for 8 days! They will only take out the garbage or replace a towel but not clean the room. I would’ve obviously preferred a room cleaning once every 4 days for example instead of 8. 8 days is disgusting to be using the same sheets in my opinion. Also the knob on the heater in the bathroom was broken so the heat was on 24/7 and there was no way to turn that off.

Room was very spacious, the bed - comfortable ( though, sofa - not so much). Clean, all the basic needs covered.There's a small supermarket nearby. 10 min to metro by walk.Very close, there's a church and a playground

The door was stuck sometimes, and we needed to call reception. But in general, it's all good.

Frirndly staff

Was dirty, confusing setup, the second bed was a couch full of stains, the tv did not work very well, the breakfast was ok but nothing special. The parking was ok but with a 50 euro cash deposit for a key. Overall I would not recomend.

The room is spacious and modern at a good price point and right across the street from the Francis of Assisi church. Breakfast was also really good for one night, there were macarons, a fruit basket with kiwis among others, as well as multiple types of juices like apple juice, orange juice, currant juice, and others! Everything at breakfast was refilled quickly and breakfast was very quiet and peaceful. The temperature was also great in the room and you had decent control over it with the AC unit.

There were still hairs from previous guests stuck on the bathroom walls and in the shower. Multiple types of hair too so possibly accumulated over multiple guests?

The door on the shower was broke so we had to take a bath. The water wasn’t hot enough. We had to boil water to take a warm bath.

Kettle is leaking. Chairs making noise like about to break down under me. Very small Sink in bathroom located under the small cap board which makes it impossible to brush teeth or wash your face. Room’s parcket floor makes noise under every step one is walking. Toilet’s seat it not properly fixed at it’s place.

Fantastic location, close to Uban/Metro and Danube River. 10 minutes with metro to most city sites. 20 minutes from airport. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Facility and Sauna/Gym clean. Room was spacious and bed was really comfortable. Will recommend!

Elevator required going outside. Some of the gym equipment was useless

Hotel is in a great location. Just a short walk from the U station. There is a supermarket next door and good cafes and restaurants within a block or two. We had an apartment so were able to cook for ourselves. The room was huge. The bed was big but too soft for me (I have some back issues) but my husband loved it.The staff were fantastic. Always friendly and helpful.

The curtains didn't close properly.

AC worked well. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Toilet seat broken. Sofa bed almost fell apart when we opened it! Fan in bathroom didn't work. Location is mid.

Less than 5 minutes from the underground station, a few shops nearby for supplies, this is a safe, functional apartment for a few days stay, staff and other guests I met were all lovely.

The property was very nice. Clean, conveniently located. The staff were exceptionally. Courtesy and very friendly,polite and helpful.

Unique location near the river. Many local restaurants. Not a very touristy area.

Bath towels could use an upgrade and wash cloth would be nice.

Great location, great big windows that opened all the way so could get nice fresh air, good fridge and microwave and hob!

It would have been nice to have cooking oil supplied. It feels very wasteful for everyone to buy 1L to use 2 teaspoons during their trip.

The fully equipped kitchen was a nice and convenient touch. Situated very close to the U1 subway which made getting around town very easy.The lady at the reception was positive and helpful, but she seemed to have been the only one, the rest of the staff seemed to care very little when issues were reported to them.

Ah, boy, where do I start..I was trying very hard to justify to myself that this hotel wasn’t really that bad, but all things considered and for its price, it was pretty bad..The second day of our stay, we found a lot of insects in the kitchen area. Looking through the reviews, apparently, we were not the first. We reported it to the staff and they seemed to have resolved it almost immediately, but we saw bugs again on the last day of our stay. I also found strange bites on my body which I now think may have been due to bed bugs.. The man at the reception seemed apologetic, but we weren’t offered anything in the sense of compensation. Wasn’t expecting it, but would be a nice touch, I suppose?We were also given only four coffee capsules, and at first, I thought it was okay, because surely they’d just refill them when necessary, right? Wrong, every extra coffee capsule was 1 euro, so we had to pay 10 euros for hotel room coffee capsules, which was a first for me.On the last day of our stay, the AC broke down and was displaying an error code that had to do with the external unit. We wanted to report it immediately, however:1. The phone in our room just didn’t work and it was way too late to come down 2. A couple of days prior, a group of other visitors were complaining to the receptionist about this as well, and all they did was say sorry, without, once again, offering anything whatsoever in terms of compensation, so we just didn’t bother.The wifi was very jumpy, as well, with it just randomly dropping on our phones as well as the room TV.The whole room could really use just a bit of renovation, as well. Cupboard door was just hanging off, the shower room ventilation system was making a screech whenever it was switched on, a piece of flooring was just sticking out of the floor as well.We didn’t try the breakfast, because 19 euros per person seemed a bit excessive.

AC was not working. I told them and the reply was “open windows”. I asked change and they were full apparently. I paid for AC but no refund. Best to avoid this place. I was super tired and they gave a room with 10 stairs. Had to climb down with luggage. Climbing up they sent a guy, but he wasn’t very pleased to help either. If you are used to the comfort of American hospitality, this is best to avoid. Pretty rude folks
