The friendly staff and the location.

Nothing really except perhaps it would have been nice too have milk available at breakfast separate from the coffee machine for those that like to have just a little amount of milk with their coffee or tea, even though I knew we could ask for it.

Very good location and easy walk to main attractions. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a great shower. Staff were super helpful and pleasant.

Perhaps a few more breakfast options.

Everything was perfect

First of all, the staff at Hotel Schani Salon were the best team we have ever encountered. We truly thank them for all their help. The hotel is very close to the U3 line’s Neubaugasse station, which connects directly to the City Airport Train line. Lastly, the croissants they serve make you feel like you’re in France, absolutely delicious.

The main benefits for me were perfect location, friendy personnel, and delicious croissants on the breakfast. Nice atmosphere in the lobby, where you can play different table games.

The location and the overall look and feel

Extremely old pillows that have lost form and the lack of proper breakfast. Yes, they call it Italian, no it's not Italian breakfast.

If tou are coming late, this could be a problem. You are informed that your room key is waiting at the entrance of the hotel.in the safe deposite box, and you got rhe code, but then you find out that the box is somewhere inside the building and you do not have another code to enter the building. If you ring the bell maybe somebody will.open, we were waiting for 5-10minutes....

Location and the room is quite big

The property does not look like the photos and feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel. The entrance is through an old building, which is not shown in the pictures. At night, there is no staff on site—access is only with a key card, so if you arrive late and the card doesn’t work, there is no one to assist you.The breakfast was very minimal, consisting only of a few croissants. Upon arrival, we were first placed in a room located in a hallway between the kitchen and dining area, which was not ideal. Fortunately, after requesting a change, we were moved to a slightly better room location. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. The experience did not match the price, especially given the lack of service and amenities one would expect from a hotel.

Perfect location, the u-bahn station is 50 meters away, and a lot of attractions are within walking distance. Friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are really nice and the design of the hotel is great. We really appreciated the fact that it was a relatively small place, feeling at home during our stay. Breakfast is (very good) croissants only but that was totally OK.

I like to sleep in very dark rooms and real blackout curtains would have been nice.

It was absolutely amazing. Possibly the coolest hotel I've ever stayed in!! Little library and lounge facilities as well as a very nice bar with baked goods. The staff were really lovely and accommodating to all my travel woes (arriving late due to delayed train, sleeping in past checkout time). The design of the room was really intelligent and aesthetically perfect. Had everything I needed. Great location too with a really cool entranceway and iron elevator!! 100% recommend.

I booked a room for a 4 nights stay and I would say its position, the helpful staff and the price are really good. The hotel is located in one of the most central areas of Vienna and it is just next to a metro station. In addition ,the staff has been more than helpful throughout the stay and was always ready to clarify things and help with some issues. The rooms are clean and even if the shower was in the room the ventilation system prevented it from being humid. Moreover, the included breakfast was nice and good to start the day with. All things considered, the value for money of the Schani Salon is outstanding. I would book it again for my next stay in Vienna.
