Hotel Lucia

For us it was the location,and also the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice, clean, warm, cozy, 24/7 reception friendly staff.

The parking was 5 mins walking distance from the hotel. Not big disadvantage.

Excellent breakfast with several fresh bread choices, cheeses, cold cuts, salads, salmon and fruit choices.

Location is good but not great!

The breakfast

The TV was not connected to OTT and the staff were not supportive about it. The room did not have a kettle for hot water, no coffee machine. There was one coffee machine in the lounge and was charged at 2.5 euros. Hot water and tea was available only between 3 and 10 pm.

The staff is really friendly, they have a mini bar in the reception area in case you have to wait a bit. Rooms are spacious and even though they are facing the street you cannot hear the traffic.

Nothing negative, just a consideration for others: we reserved a parking space and the entry was so narrow that our car (VW passat) barely passed through with its mirrors closed. So in case you have a wider car, you might want to reconsider reserving that parking. We were a bit surprised that breakfast included čevapčiči and no scrambled eggs :).

Most things met my expectations or exceeded them. IMO, the location is great, a few minutes from a subway station, that is well connected to the city. The breakfast was good, maybe a better fruit selection could be something to improve. The room was a good size.The staff was helpful.

This might not mean much to others, but others like me that travel most often with limited toiletries due to fluid limitations and restrictions to shaving possibilites, I would say that the biggest downside was that there was no conditioner or shaving options. Also, that the body soap was the same as the soap for washing one´s hands was not a positive experience.

Hospitality, facilities, brakfast.

Single minus was that they blocked 400 euros as a vandalism insurance. They forgot to return the money after i checked out - i had to write to remind them. That never ever happend to me - i recomend that they lose this -anti-guest behavior.

nothing really. The receptionist was ok when I checked in.

Breakfast poor compared to other hotels, no toast was available, asked for another duvet - didn't get one, asked for extra towel was told no couldnt have one, steps up to hotel - no disabled entrance visable and steps down to access the bedrooms. staff seemed to be uninterested and indifferent to any requests. nearly fell over due to a slight step going to the bedrooms near the garden/breakfast room. Left hotel at 4.40 am to get flight but the coffee machine in reception area had been turned off (not sure if its available 24 hrs). after reading the reviews I thought this hotel would be nice but the staff were a major disappointment (when you could find one that is).

Very nice and helpful staff. Easy to get to with public transport.

Walls are a little thin & the room looked nicer in the pictures.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast. Air conditioning was very welcome as weather and room were very warm. U-Bahn station close by. Approx. 1/2 hour walk to Schoenbrunn Palace.

There was space in the desk for a fridge but it was missing. Would have been useful to keep bottled water cold, but no big deal.

Location was good, being able to reach central very easy. Room was clean, nice but windows spaces were not very clean. Anyway, the big dissapointment was I had no fridge in the room.

Wonderful location. The room was quite good and clean. Room size was also OKI could recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Nothing upsetting. The room lacks a refrigerator… I don’t know if this is part of the 3* standard in Austria, or not. Sometimes the AC would turn off by itself… funny but not very disturbing. The sense of privacy was not very present during our stay there, but nothing upsetting..

The distance from the city …

We were there for a week and the breakfast was good but the service we got from reception was the worst I have ever had and then one day by mistake we spoiled some food in the floor and they told us to par 220 euro.

Very good

Everything was great except for the lack of soundproofing. Room located in a hallway with toilet, people coming and going in the middle of the night , you can hear all the doors slamming.

Room had plenty space and was clean. Breakfast was on point

Location was little bit remote but near Schonbrun and eith public transport you will be in the city centre in 20 minutes

Near all the sightseeing places.

If something happens in the room you will be blamed for it with no proof that you did it and need to pay quite a big money.So be ready to nearly wash your feet before entering the room and bed in case something stays on the carpet or on the bed.If you come with the children don't take your eys of them just in case they accidently damage something or get curtains,carpet or wall dirty - you will pay for it from around 150eiro.Feeling was that maybe I need to wash my bedlinen and towels myself in case I will be changed for it as I was sleeping on them or washing my face and hands.

We did not have the breakfast, though it looked good. We liked the private outside patio and it was close to the U-Bahn station.

We had no complaints or dislikes.
