About
Welcome to Pertschy Palais Hotel — A Piece of Viennese History. The Pertschy Palais Hotel welcomes you in one of the most beautiful Baroque palaces in Vienna's historic city center — the landmark-protected Palais Cavriani, dating back to the 17th century. Vienna's Icons, around the corner: just 328 feet from the Graben, and a five-minute stroll from St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg with the Sisi Museum, the Albertina and the Vienna State Opera — our guests don't need a taxi, because Vienna begins right at the door. Every morning, a generous Viennese breakfast buffet awaits you, featuring a carefully curated selection of organic produce. Coffee, tea and all hot beverages are complimentary throughout the day. Our 55 lovingly appointed rooms — equipped with mini-bar, satellite TV and complimentary WiFi — are all easily reached by the glass panoramic elevator through our historic courtyard. At Pertschy Palais Hotel, you are not staying in an anonymous hotel room. You are a guest in one of the most characterful privately-run hotels in the city — and you feel it at breakfast, at check-in, and in every detail. A public car park is a 7-minute walk away, and the Hofburg Congress Center is 5 minutes on foot.

Pros +
- Excellent location.
- Location, but this is the only thing I liked
- The location is excellent, within walking distance of everything, it's a historic building, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. I definitely recommend it.
Cons -
- Family room for 4 was not made up. Only two towels and sofa bed was not made.
- This is not really a hotel but rather collection of rooms in a building. I have no idea how it was rated 4-stars, but the badge on the building indicates that this rating expired already (no idea if this is true). There is no parking provided - you have to park in a public parking at approx. 40 EUR a day - I would expect that this is stated as NO PARKING on the site, which would be more correct that misrepresenting that there is a "paid public parking" - such parking is everywhere so nothing to be advertised in the context of hotel stay.
- Elevator is outside

Location and staff
Room, noise from other rooms, walkway to room was rickety with drop to car park and bins!
The location was excellent. The facilities were interesting. The staff - reception, housekeeping, breakfast room - were amazingly amiable and helpful.
Charming…Super location, spacious room, good breakfast.
Everything was great, no complaints.
All the employees from the Reception Desk were very helpful, all provided us with very usefull information like restaurants, directions to diferent places, answered all our questions. These people are this Hotel greatest asset.
One of the rooms had a very small bathroom. On the chech-out day the elevator was out of order. We received help with the lugagge from the hotel. The 3rd floor had the floors so old, maybe rotten. I could hear my neighbour vomit and the next day the lively sexual activity of the couple next door room 316
I liked the location, the breakfast and the staff mariane nina and others where very helpfull
The bathroom , very small the room was big but the shower is tiny
Only location
The staff was extremely unprofessional. Our room was not cleaned even once during our four-night stay. There was often no one at the reception desk, so we were unable to report any issues. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel.
The location is greatGood breakfast
The property not clean and the bed not comfortable and very stiff. The staff at breakfast is very not pleasant and not welcoming. The hotel sold you bottles of water, you have no spoon at the room. The bathroom water go out the bath.
Great location, convenient to a lot of tourist activities and attractions
Room door opened to outdoors, was a holiday and quite expensive without much extra for luxuries
Location, staff
The room was cold. Bath was cold. I called the reception, they gave us blanket and a hotter. We sat under the quilt. The room was warm in the morning but we were upset in the night. It was only one night. The room was very big. Breakfast was medium...
Location, staff in general
The receptionist who did not know if the breakfast was included or not. The fact that the elevator has not been working the whole time. Too noisy, frequently slammings around the roomNo table of normal high in the room
Hotel is very well located and staff is nice and welcoming.
Despite that there is the breakfast option, there is not much variety. Same option everyday.
Excellent continental breakfast. Location very close to places that we wanted to visit.
Elevator was out of service and being repaired.
Convenient room , tasty breakfast, super location!
Amazingly central / the best place to explore Vienna close to the main commercial street and the museums and palace
It was all great except that they charged extra for the water they left in the fridge without informing that this is not for free as most hotels do but it is charged extra. The water is there anyway without ordering it so it’s a hidden extra charge
Super well located, in the center.
The room wasn't very clean and the breakfast didn't have many options.
The only redeeming factor is the location
As seasoned global travelers who regularly stay in high-end hotels around the world, we feel compelled to leave a direct and honest review of this property. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. In reality, it is barely a 2-star accommodation, and this is the first of many misrepresentations. The building is a pre-war residential block, not a purpose-built hotel.Rooms are accessed through a shared courtyard and terraces, with people constantly passing directly in front of our room and windows. It is obvious that these are converted apartments, poorly adapted for hotel use.The heating is completely inadequate. With an outside temperature of around 2°C, we had to sit inside the room fully dressed. One can only imagine how uncomfortable — or unacceptable — the conditions are when temperatures drop below freezing. The furniture is old, worn, and outdated, and the rooms are in urgent need of a full renovation. The bathroom is at least 30 years old, with broken tiles and a visibly dirty shower cabin. The breakfast area, located in yet another converted “apartment,” is frankly unacceptable. The selection is extremely poor, the furniture dates back to the 1980s, and the overall impression is unhygienic. We did not have breakfast even once, as the offering resembled a low-quality canteen rather than a hotel charging premium prices.Security is a serious concern. The rooms are secured by two old wooden-and-glass doors with basic locks that could easily be forced open. Worse still, the gate to the shared courtyard was constantly left open, allowing anyone to enter freely and walk straight up to the room doors. This is entirely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming 4-star status. From early morning onward, there is significant noise from offices located in the courtyard, as well as from the kitchen of a nearby restaurant. Adding to this, all garbage containers — including bio-waste — are placed in the same courtyard, resulting in persistent unpleasant odors.
