    Pros +

    • The room is big, very clean and very warm!
    • Good location close to tram stations in different directions and grocery stores. Rooms are good size and very clean. Friendly staff
    • It was clean, good lication and the staff was very friendly.

    Cons -

    • All is good, except probably for the size of the shower room which is on the smaller size.
    • window towards street, so that the traffic was a bit noisy - especially on the night before leaving early in the morning just a note: I had an online zoom call with a student - but wifi crashed after ~30 min ... not really a problem, as I could use my phone, but I want to give this info to the host
    • Not private enough, as you can hear conversations in the rooms from the hallway and reception.

the size of the room was large - amazing - and as I worked at the university, everything was walkable: love it!

Great location which is a 15-20 min walk to the centre. The two staff members we’ve seen seemed very nice and friendly. Lady and and older male. Room was massive. Had 4 beds, a sofa, table and 4 chairs and a mini fridge. Had it cleaned the next day which was nice.

As we walked in at 1.07pm (bearing in mind booking.com said check in from 10am, screenshot attached) the cleaner who seemed quite nice but didn’t speak English so she used translate to tell us she will be about 10-15 minutes until our room is ready. THe wallpaper has loads of stains which are brownish colour and don’t look very inviting. The toilet roll “holder” is a sticky kitchen hook. Which in my honest opinion is such a a low blow as it costs 1/2 euros to order even from aliexpress or temu. Next the curtains they don’t close all the way so if you’re someone who can’t sleep with slithers of light coming through in the morning I’d think whether this is the right place. The shower door didn’t close properly so the shower leaked a lot into the bathroom to the point I had to wring out the towel that was on the floor twice to mop up the floor with it. The shower also had no shelf which made it super awkward to wash hair or grab shower gel etc etc. The tele didn’t really work as when you turned on the box all channels said bad signal if it did work it would go choppy every 10 seconds due to the bad signal. Think there’s a lot of small issues that need looking into, if those weren’t present I wouldn’t mind the vintage 70s decor. However the fact there’s so many little off putting things mixed the decor makes it somewhat unpleasant.

We had a very large room. The location of the Pension is close to the center but far enough from the main tourist stream. The tram and bus stops almost in front and you're in a few minutes in the center of Vienna. Extra bonus that we could check in early as we arrived in the morning. Very friendly owner/operator.Very comfy bed.

Room was very clean. Staff was perfect.

It could be better bathroom conditions. Toilet needs renovation.

Good accommodation for a day or two with perfect public transport, shops and bars nearby.

    8KaulPosted on: 4-16-2025

It is about 3-4 km from the centre but the bus station is just across the road . So is the local supermarket . Comfortable stay no complaints . Spacious room with kettle and tea hot water .

I absolutely loved that you check in and out yourself. The free coffee is amazing. The fridge in the room is a huge plus. Convenient location, there is a tram stop nearby.

Very clean room. Receptionist lady is very friendly. The room bed are super good. The shower water is very very super good! The best cost performance hotel in Vienna! We will come back for sure.

Good bed for sleeping, outside can be heard but you can get used to it in a few minutes. Everything is close, shops, bakery, cafe. Little room, but more than enough for 2 people staying only at nights and more. Even enough for 3 in my opinion.

No kitchen or plates/cutlery at all for breakfast or anything, although it has a mini-fridge for storing stuff.

The accommodation was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and willing to help you. I think the location is perfect considering the price. It was a safe zone at night

    9AlejandroPosted on: 2-8-2025

The location is absolutely great. Tram and bus stops are just a few meters away. The city center is quite easy to reach. A supermarket is jut right in front of the pension, across the street. The room was clean, albeit small. There was no cooking facility, but a fridge in the room was quite handy to keep some stuff. A kettle and courtesy tea bags in the room, and courtesy coffee in the "lobby" were all very welcome. You get your keys and you can get in any time you want, so there's no issues getting back to your room late in the evening or too early in the morning. It is quite close to the University of Vienna, which in my case was a very important factor to decide my stay.

The bathroom is inside the room, like a box that has been installed within the room, it is not a different space all in all. It was a bit small, but it worked just fine for me. I had no issues with it, but some other visitors might want to consider it if they find the space a bit too packed.

It is a very comfortable place. We stayed in a very big room. We booked a double bed and we had two extra sofas to use. There is a small kettle in the room and some teas.Great thing is the coffee machine and small pots of milk in the common area and you can help yourself to it whenever you want. There is a supermarket (Spar) right opposite the Pension and another one (Billa) a couple of minutes away. The owner very nice. He speaks English. The furniture/style is not modern but totally functional. Comfortable bed.It is a 15mins walk from the City Hall, Hofburg, Parliament etcThe price is definitely a good value for money.

Huge room - I think I got a family room. Basic, but warm and comfortable, right on a tram line

    9SofiaPosted on: 1-28-2025

Good location (right outside tram stop), quiet neighborhood, grocery store close by, big room with comfy bed, couches, and great shower.

Reception times were inconvenient. Otherwise, good.

It was exactly what I needed for my trip.a place to sleep an nothing moresmall, clean, intimateexactly what I paid for, and nothing more

small, the bathroom was a little, the bed was little

The location is very good. It's very close to the city center. I could even leave my baggage in my room after my city tour and then heading to a concert without any belongings :)

Toilet utilizes drainage pump which makes some noises while flushing and that might surprise you at the first use.
