Urban boutique Hotel

Location, warm water, easy to use radiator. Underground transport network entrance is within 30 seconds walk from door.

Drainage smell in the bathroom. Smell leaking back up from the drains. A simple P-trap would cure it.

Everything. Too small, dingy, not comfortable, no toilet

The breakfast was good, and the location is amazing - right in the shopping street. The staff were always ready to help and printed us tickets even!The room is very clean and well-organized as well, the bed was comfortable and there are extra blankets and pillows!

There is no elevator in this place, but the staff helped with our stuff and carried it to the second floor, which means going up or down many stairs, so it's important for us since we both have disabilities which made it harder to walk upstairs after a long day.The lighting is a bit dimmed.

If I have to mention one good thing — the breakfast wasn’t bad.

This place was far from being a “boutique” hotel — dirty, tiny rooms, stained sheets, and unfriendly managers. The hotel has two sections: a hostel side and a hotel side. We booked a 15 m² double room with an ensuite bathroom through Booking.com, but they placed us in a 10 m² filthy, dusty room on the hostel side, right next to the shared bathrooms of that floor.We complained, and the next day they moved us to another room in the hotel section — where we found a tick. The following day, they switched us to yet another, slightly better room. We stayed a total of three nights. Since our travel plans changed, we had booked two nights on Booking.com and called to reserve the third night (because the site had a glitch). The opportunistic managers charged a higher rate than what was shown on Booking.Every morning we had to check out and bring our luggage to the reception, only to check into a new room later in the afternoon. It was the worst hotel experience of my life.If aI have to mention one good thing — the breakfast wasn’t bad.

Shower in the room. Toilet shared. Not much privacy. In the morning, people watch you walking to the toilet while they eat breakfast.

The rooms are really small. Our room number 1 was accessed directly from the breakfast area so it was very noisy in the morning.

Convenient location directly next to U-Bahn station. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

We think our room had bedbugs. Both of us woke up with bites all over, example pictured.We had room #1 which is directly next to the restaurant. We were woken up by other guests eating their breakfast. Try to avoid this room if you’re sensitive to noise.

Great Location in the middle of the shopping area

Terrible (Moldy / Earthy) Smell in the bathroom. We were not able to get it put even with ventilation running the entire day in the bathroom.Tiny rooms almost no space to store luggage. We had to climb over the bed to get to the other size

Convenient location

Bed was very small. In fact it is a 1.5 size matress (see the photo).Ventilation doesn’t exist. Air conditioning is done via very old noisy machine which makes the window open.Even with open window, the smell off the old property is very strong.As window has to be kept open, the noise level from the street is very high.Some idiots were shouting all during the night. So, we had zero sleep during the night because of horrible room facilities.I understand that house is old and the center of Wien, vibes of the old house, but c’mon.

I filtered private bathroom, it had skower but not toilet! the fridge did not work, the fan had kinda no effect at all!

The location is excellent—right in the middle of a shopping street with easy access to the University of Vienna, museums, and other notable attractions. Unlimited coffee is available, which is a great perk, especially for researchers. The hotel also manages a bistro located directly beneath the property, offering excellent Viennese and Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and warm, making the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the overall comfort of the stay.

The room was small with poor ventilation, and the washroom lacked even a basic freshener, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. The provided fan was inadequate to offset the heat during warmer weather. Internet service was essentially unusable, forcing me to rely on my own mobile data. Housekeeping did not change the sheets or clean the bathroom during my week-long stay. While the breakfast was of good quality, it was identical every day. Additionally, there was no intercom in the room.

The location was great

There were no showers on our floor. The toilettes (two of them) were being shared by the whole floor - 8 rooms. The rooms are scattered around a dining area, so it gets crowded in the morning, and you really can't go to the toilette in your underwear. We were given the room key before the room was even cleaned, but to their defense, we did book the hotel 30 minutes earlier due to our other accommodation being cancelled - they did give us a tea and prepared the room in an hour or so. Be sure to thoroughly check through the images of the rooms you're booking, as all the bad rooms either aren't even displayed on the pictures, or they're put last.

The location is great, easy to get around Vienna. The little kitchen unit in the room is handy.

Wifi didn’t work in our room, bedding and covers were old and broken. Towels very small and cleaner folded the damp towels when cleaning the room.
