Hotel Boltzmann

We had previously stayed in a beautiful apartment in a different location and it was so noisy. This hotel was in a lovely quiet area but easy walking to all the main tourist areas

The lift was broken but our suitcases were all transported to and from our rooms so it was not an issue.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Delicious breakfast. I had a very pleasant stay and I would recommended this hotel in Vienna.

The main reason we choose Hotel Boltzmann every year is the location and the staff. Everything is close and everyone is kind. The rooms are comfy and clean.

One thing is the older interior but this time we could see some damages and spots in the room as well. This Hotel really needs some extra maintenance and/or renovation.

Fair variety of different kinds of food at breakfast. Kind staff.

The room smelled like an ashtray. The elevator was broken and I had to take the stairs to the 4th floor-there was no warning prior booking. Coffee was horrible.

Hotel is good, but needs some renovations. I could hear other guests, which was little bit annoying.

There was a bed and a toilet.

6th floor WITHOUT ELEVATOR. I booked 2h before coming - the staff did not inform about broken elevator issue - did not mention in the listing. Clear RED flague. Apart from this, everything rather outdated, shower cabin broken.. . Too small bed linens... Everything rather blah.

It is located about a 15 minute walk from Schottentor or a 2 minute walk from the Spitalgasse tram stop. Single room is a good size and includes kettle and some tea and coffee sachets. Thankfully I could moderate the heating in the room. I could leave my luggage at the reception after checking out, which was very convenient.

Before arrival I got a message to check in online before arrival to speed up the process, but there seemed to be a "Garantie", a deposit to be paid. I was very confused about this, because I had already paid the reservation through booking.com and knew nothing about this deposit. I thus ignored the online checkin request and checked in normally at the hotel, where no mention of the deposit was made and everything was as expected.

Very nice hotel for a good price(we were there in January). High-quality furniture, comfortable bed and mattress, clean, close to the center.

Unfortunately, I was not happy with my room location. Why?! It was very next to the elevatore, and when someone call him, very soon something pop...And if you wanna rest,you can't because it's very loud. And waking me all the time.Maybe hotel needs to warn for those rooms...idk.

Nice hotel with a very good quality of breakfast and with a warm and cosy atmosphere. The hotel is located in a secure and quiet area close to the city center and you can visit most of the city monuments by walking.

1. We faced some problems with the supply of the room with electric energy and the plugs did not function. However, the reception personnel reacted promptly and the problem was solved quickly. 2. The bath towels should be changed more regularly.

Not recommended the worst hotel in Vienna

I urge everyone do not go to this hotel, i got robbed someone entered my room and took some stuffs and 1600$ that was in a bag in the luggages, not recommended at all, i called the police but the police cannot do anything since there is no cameras in the lobby, and the hotel stuff when i reported the incident they were very unproffessional no one called to understand what happened as they are used to those kind of incidents , it is not recommended at all

Positioned close to tram lines, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. Only about 25 minutes from the city centre. Lovely staff, we were able to store our luggage before checkin and after check out.
