- The breakfast spread was amazing if you choose to purchase it. The location was good and the staff was very helpful.
- Friendly staff Front Desk and cleaning staff. Good location. Efficient rooms. Fair price.
Cons -
- My final day I could not pay for my outstanding balance due to the system being down. Apparently this happens a bit. This cost me 3 hours trying to find an open Western Union... all were closed since it was a Sunday. Only bad thing.
- Everything was great.
- There is no socket close to the bed

Hotel met our needs for a short stay. Good breakfast and handy to metro network
Check-in was quick and the staff made us feel welcome right away. The room was clean and quiet.Breakfast had plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. The location was close to the metro station.
Everything was great.
Overall great , location close to transportation options in nice area , room was good , parking availability is great option
The location is good; there are supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a laundromat nearby. It’s conveniently accessible via the U4. A normal place that meets expectations.
Hotel location is good, about 15 mins from metro station. Beds are comfortable.
There is no socket close to the bed
The property was clean and functional. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The price was the most competitive we found in Vienna at that time of year, and the hotel is close to a metro station.
Breakfast was available, but not included in our rate.
Cost was better compared to the average on the city. Breakfast was varied and good.
Maybe Location as you need public transport to get to most of the places but it was not too bad,
Hotel is in a safe area and about 7min from metro station by foot (from metro to city center in less than 10min). Big supermarket (Billa) is very close to the hotel.Rooms are older and need renovation, but they are clean and good size. Bed is quite comfortable, I woke up well rested every morning. I asked for an inner courtyard room (according to other reviews, it was supposed to be more quiet), and it was the quietest room I've ever been to (so thankful for that!).The breakfast is just amazing!! Maybe it's because I really love Austrian sweet/savory pastries, but I don't think anyone could have a complaint on this breakfast. It also has a nice choice of hot meals and the coffee is quite good. The breakfast area is very pleasant and good size, we haven't had any problems of finding available table. The staff is very helpful and friendly.I would definitely recommend this hotel.(we took photos of the room before check out, so don't mind the bed :))
Closet is not practical because it is in a weird corner and not easy to put our clothes in it. It would also be nice to have some wall hooks to hang out jackets. No sockets near bed.
It was very clean and very quiet. The staff were great and most helpful. The location was perfect since it was close to the underground train station and an easy walk to the downtown area.
Most friendly and kindest staff.I had the golfing room and it was fascinating!Enough room for a solo traveler and satisfactory cleaning.
There were some noise coming to room from outside like TV noise but it might be due to location. I didn't mind train noise, reminded me my house. Some hair here and there but nothing troubling, mold in the shower head and shower walls can be cleaned but I had mold almost everywhere I stayed in Europe except for Italy so maybe it is not an issue there.
The room was very clean and it was comfortable. And it was new. The elevator is super fast. The breakfast was perfect, abundant and with options. The location was better than I expected. When I watched the map I was afraid it was bit far, but with the green metro you are everywhere in very short time. And the hotel is close to the stop.
The Location is very good,a really nice neighbourhood and close to the U-bahn.The breakfast was really nice and tasty. The eggs and sausages were top for me.Also the room was quite clean and the bed was comfy.
Near the center, good breakfast and the room is comfy.
A hair in bed sheet and shower.
Good basic room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance to buses and the metro.
The room smelled a bit damp. There is no retractor fan in the bathroom which probably contributes to this.
The breakfast was good.
This incident happened to me in the morning during check-out.I had to deal with a man named Alex, who introduced himself as a manager.I was ironing my clothes with my personal iron. Since I was in a hurry, I brought my luggage to the underground parking. I loaded my suitcases into the car and left the still-warm iron next to the vehicle so it could cool down. I placed it deliberately in an open and visible spot next to my car — there was nothing else nearby. After that, I went back upstairs to the reception to complete the check-out process, which took no more than 2–3 minutes. When I returned to the parking garage, the iron was already gone.I immediately went back to reception and asked for help. However, manager Alex refused to assist in any way. He said it was my problem, that the hotel takes no responsibility, the cameras don’t work, and there’s nothing he can do.When I asked,“What if someone steals a car from the underground parking?” —he simply replied,“That’s not my problem.”I asked him to at least speak to his colleagues or check with the staff. Instead, he began speaking rudely, rolling his eyes, and clearly showing that he didn’t care at all. His behavior was absolutely unacceptable — especially for someone claiming to be a hotel manager. After 15 minutes of this unpleasant conversation, Alex finally walked over to one of the staff members. Three minutes later, they brought back the iron — without explanation of who had taken it or why.I received no apology for the incident or the inconvenience.I would like an official response from hotel management:What position does Alex actually hold, and do you consider this kind of behavior acceptable for your hotel staff?
Good location, parking and service
Cleaning staff did a great job particularly the bathroom which was spotless. The front counter staff particularly a gentleman named FLORIAN was excellent. He was extremely helpful regarding our train arrangement from Vienna to Saltzberg and knowledgeable regarding the history & life of Austria. I have learned a lot from him about this beautiful country which is the purpose of our travel. The breakfast was really good including many hot & cold options. Coffee & all sorts of juices, you name it. All those ladies were so attentive & hard working, they kept tidying up the table, the food area (refilling) & the coffee machine frequently with smiles & greetings. Very welcoming, friendly and professional. Honestly the design & the facility of the accommodation were a bit dated but well maintained, kind of 3 stars. But the staff (the service) was 5 stars, a huge thumbs up. Within 10 minutes walk to the train station & bus stop to get to the inner City and many local restaurants nearby including pubs, Austrian & Italian foods. I would highly recommend ibis Wien City to everyone.
