About
Boutiquehotel Stadthalle is a family-run and eco-friendly hotel with a beautiful garden, individually designed rooms, and free WiFi. It is just an 8-minute walk from the Westbahnhof Train Station and Vienna’s main shopping boulevard Mariahilfer Straße. The breakfast buffet including local products is served in the breakfast room, in the sun-flooded winter garden, or outdoors in the unique green oasis. Boutiquehotel Stadthalle's water is heated by solar panels, and rainwater collected from the roof is used to water the garden. Moreover, all roofs are planted. There is a bicycle trail leading straight to the center of Vienna from the hotel. A bicycle garage is available free of charge, and bicycles can be rented out at the hotel the whole year. The Westbahnhof Underground Station (lines U3 and U6) provides direct connections to the city center. From the nearby Beingasse Tram Stop, you can also get quickly to the city center, as well as to the picturesque Spittelberg area. From another nearby tram stop, Schönbrunn Palace is reachable within just a few minutes. Vienna's Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) can be easily reached in 15 minutes by tram line 18.

Pros +
- Location was good. Very helpful staff. Good variety of breads
- Everything was amazing! Very clean and fresh room, very delicious breakfast and very friendly stuff! I will definitely recommend it and return to this lovely hotel
- The room is fascinating in terms of decoration. They really take it to the next level with sustainability. Almost all, if not all, objects in the room have some history, and it's really interesting to see how they've found a new purpose for them.It was clean and comfortable.Breakfast is continental, regular buffet, and it's nice. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. What we didn't understand when booking it was that the parking is additionally paid. We thought it was included in the price, but no. They do offer it, the garage is in the building next door, and it costs 19 euros per day. It's still a fair price when compared to other European cities. It's also very well connected with public transportation. We stayed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and it was still great - all public transport still functioned well, and no delays. We didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes ever.
Cons -
- Very limited vegetarian options. Had to specifically request for bread to be toasted

- The pillows were very thin and there was only one per person. It was also too hot in the room with no way to turn the temperature down.

The staff were really helpful when we asked for recommendations of where to eat - they steered us away from the tourist traps! The breakfast was also excellent, and far exceeded what I expected.

We chose the hotel mainly because of its proximity to Stadthalle. The room design-and especially the shower (which looks like a bio-toilet cabin)-is very “special.” The green vibe is also very pronounced. Unfortunately, we had a huge cockroach
The room was cozy and warm, and this could be valuable advantage for Vienna visitors in the winter. The bed seemed to be rather comfortable and illumination sufficient
One could hear voices and steps of other hotel clients, the rooms have no effective noise isolation. The breakfast was basic, no choice or diversity for persons with special needs - as allergy or lactose intolerance. I received no written or spoken Info about wi-fi availability in the room, maybe it is provided on special request
Excellent breakfast buffet with locally sourced products. The staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly.
The room was cosy, the bathroom was small but comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!

Lovely cosy feel. Welcoming staff and great locations. Breakfast was amazing and really sets you up for a days sightseeing
The food was amazing, breakfasts are balanced, organic and absolutely delicious. There are many options to choose from. The rooms are clean, and are being cleaned every day. However, there isn’t a mini bar/fridge in the rooms, it’s possible to leave at the reception desk, so everything is taken care of. The location of the Hotel is convenient, you do have to take public transportation, but most of the popular locations are 15 minutes away. Absolute best!!! Would gladly come back many more times.
Staff very helpful and nice. Hotel design is really special and beautiful. Makes the place much more than a “regular” hotel.
It would be notice if the toilet and shower had more privacy.
Spotless clean, very cozy atmosphere, delicious and varied organic breakfast. Staff very attentive and polite. Location is good, 2 min from the tram station and 3 metro stations at 5-10 min walk
The bathroom isn’t quite a bathroom as it doesn’t have walls but curtains, if you are alone in the room or in couple it’s ok, otherwise it lacks privacy
Great staff. Very attentive with the small details (bringing apples every day :D), friendly and professional. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The location wasn't that far from the center. Another great thing was the TV having the option to watch streaming platforms like Netflix or YouTube.
The location was great, the staff were very nice. Nicely decorated room, exceptional variety and quality of food in a nice ambient. The room had everything needed and the TV was easy to set up quickly and enjoy. Would come back again:)
The price was a bit steep for the size of the room
it was a comfortable stay, nice breakfast, in walking distance to the train station and Mariahilfer Straße
the vanity was in open space, so if someone used it you could hear everything, not a major throwback, but if you are a light sleeper it might bother you
Quiet room in the backyard. Public transport close by. Ideal for trips into Vienna centre. Friendly staff. Room was designed well. Excellent breakfast - organic products, perfect!
Booking of the garage places in advance no longer possible. But no problem for us. Had a place. Hotel personnel helpful.
The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice for everyone and replenished when needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant dining room with lots of quirky elements. The location of the hotel was very good for the reason of our visit and with plenty of options for public transport.
Eco friendly approach, breakfast and the smell of the hand soap.
