Hotel Marc Aurel - Vienna City Center

The hotel was conveniently located, and the room was clean.

The room was tiny, with a window covered in privacy tape facing the back of the hotel with no view.

The location is close to the city center. The area is peaceful and clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Bed was a little bit hard and the bathroom can be a little more clean.

It is a great location with easy access and a 24 hour front desk.

Only had one problem and it was accommodated quickly. Staff is very nice, providing assistance and even some history about the area and the building.

The room was small but that was ok for us. It was our first time in Vienna and we didn’t spend much time in the hotel.

Location was good and staff helpful. I had an early start one morning and staff was able to provide me with coffee early. Was very thankful for that.

Bed was extremely soft. Hotel is a very active night life area all kinds of street noise.Room was extremely small.Breakfast does not start till 7:30

Cleanness and quiet

The absence of a freezer. The tween bed is slightly smaller than expected.

The location was pretty good. Not directly next to subway or tram or going-out locations, but everything within 5 minutes of walking distance. There is someone at the reception 24/7 and staff is extremely friendly. We got a very good price for 3 adults (1 room) with 3 individual beds, which is nowhere else to be found in Vienna's zone 1; most other hotels require 2 rooms or only offer a sofa bed.

The hotel is pretty small, the "twin"-sized beds are only 80cm wide, which is minimum size. The room was very small, with almost no space to walk around, barely enough to walk past the beds. The OTIS elevator is old and made scary moves up and down (unprovoked) almost every time when entering. The breakfast buffet was ok, but nothing extraordinary (see photos from the buffet). Orange juice is from concentrate, but it was better than expected.

Great location and amazing staff. Parking is expensive in Vienna but they accommodated with 7€ daily street parking passes. Super easy and as great value.

Relatively convenient for attractions. Good for public transit. Comfortable bed.

Teeny tiny room. No kettle for hot beverage, no mini fridge, postage stamp bathroom, low quality breakfast. Overpriced considering location and facilities. Comparable to a Motel 6 in amenities.

Hotel’s location is great. Staff is also kind. But rooms are very small. It could have been larger and more spacious.

The location is perfect. Walkable distance to many sightseeing spots. Just 3 min.away from Schwedenplatz with good connections for tram and Subway. I stayed 1 week at this hotel and felt comfortable. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and not noisy despite the location. On my next journey to Vienna I would choose this hotel again.

My favourite aspect of the hotel is its superb location. I could walk to all the attractions that I wanted to see, which was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable and reasonably priced.
