Pros +
- The hotel location was excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the subway, with the tram stopping right in front of the hotel, and only a 10-minute walk from Vienna’s main central train station.Breakfast was delicious. The Eggs Benedict with salmon was very delicious. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The reception staff were friendly and provided helpful guidance on getting around the city.
- It was clean and the staff was nice
- Really an excellent location (close to the train station, a tram station right in front of the hotel and a shopping mall right behind the corner) which is super easy to find. Clean and very well equipped rooms with comfy beds and a heating. I really liked the smell of soap that they were using. :) Too bad that in the end I didnt have time to try their coffee machine. What I really appreciated was also that they went a mile to provide me with a room before the official check in, so I could rest right after my journey. The small exhibition about Mr. Kolbeck on the 1st floor or a basket with apples that hotel guests can take from was a very nice touch.
Cons -
- Two main negative points;1- Although the breakfast was delicious, I would have preferred an open buffet with more variety, especially for children. For two consecutive days, the pancakes were unavailable, and the remaining options were quite limited for my daughter.2- The room was not cleaned regularly during our stay. In addition, on our last day, despite having agreed with the hotel reception on a one-hour late checkout, a staff member came to our room and started shouting at us in her own language (I believe Dutch), demanding that we leave. This behavior was completely unacceptable and left us with a very negative impression of the hotel.
- It was noisy I could hear neighbors
- To sensitive sleepers I'd recommend to take a sleeping mask/earbuds to have a better sleep, as some rooms dont have light-blocking curtains and the hotel is right next to a road.

The location is good, it is very close to the main station. The hotel and the restaurant were nicely decorated and clean. The reservation and check in were quick and we could leave the luggage for a while after checkout.
The bathroom/shower did not have a door.
I'll repeat in this hotel only for the breakfast, that was amazing! Well located next to the Hbf
Small rooms but very clean and correct.
Great location! Beautiful room, very comfortable, exceptionally clean! And best breakfast!
Very helpful staff, great location near the railway station, very nice pictures of Franz Joseph II. in the room. Stylish!
First, the staff was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful with information. The hotel was also in a good location, with a shopping center and many grocery stores nearby.
I wasn't crazy about the room. It was tiny, with not much space to get around. The desk was tiny as well and the desk chair wasn't comfortable, so I didn't get much use out of the desk and had a difficult time finding room to put things. I don't mind small beds, but I didn't find the bed very comfortable. Also, there was no fridge or fan. With no fan, the room was warm, so the only option was to open the window, but it was very noisy outside, and cigarette smoke came in from people smoking below.
It was very accessible and close to two metro stops. The neighborhood, though not the most beautiful, seemed rather safe.
Only one particular incident when the idiot at breakfast was quite rude and very impatient with me just for asking whether I might order breakfast
It’s centrally located near train and metro stations.
Room and bathroom were small. Room didn’t have a fridge.
nice, neat boutique hotel close to the main station and a bustling shopping street. great transport links. breakfast concept is interesting as you get to choose from a set menu, though this might not be to everyone's liking if you enjoy the buffet concept. nice touch with the coffee machine in the room. air con a blessing on hot day
room on the small side, even for a single. tv had many channels listed but few available. not the most soundproof building.
Best aspect was the friendliness of staff and coordination with wonderful restaurant below for really fantastic food and again congenial staff all around.Dee and Tom
Very good hotel, near the central rail station. Clean and convenient, the room has everything you need.
Everything was wonderful. Location. Two metro stops to the centre. Accommodation was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast portions were huge, picture worthy and more than enough variety to suit all tastes. Finally, a big shout out to Melissa for providing five star reception. We have rarely felt so warmly welcomed anywhere.
Nothing. Everything was wonderful.
Close to Central Station and metro. Good food nearby.
Great place, location is very good. bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Breakfast is amazing. It is not standard breakfast, here you order from breakfast menu and you dish is prepared for you. in front of hotel is tram stop, and 5 minute walk is metro station.
Unfortunately on check in rooms were mixed up. we arrived as a group. some people stayed 2 nights and some people stayed 3. that also made a mix up on check out. So some people who had booked double rooms got single room. I had to stay in single room for one night and next day i got my room changed. One of guests had view to dumpster that is located in inner side of the building
Great Location, amazing breakfast. Hotel does not have previously prepared breakfast, so you get freshly prepared breakfast just for you from breakfast menu.
Close to railway station. Had a restaurant and bar downstairs.
Single room and bathroom were quite small and water heating taps were weirdly placed.Room was cold and could not get warm air.
The location was excellent near to the Central Station, markets, restaurants, shops etc and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even kindly held onto our backpacks after we checked out, since our flight was in the afternoon.
The towels were not changed during our stay.
Great location. Clean. Very tasty breakfast
