Pros +
- We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was excellent and offered great value for money, with a luxurious atmosphere that exceeded our expectations. The customer service was outstanding — the staff were extremely helpful and professional throughout our stay. We especially appreciated their assistance with our very early 4 a.m. check-out, making the process smooth and stress-free. They also kindly helped us with our luggage, which made everything much easier.
- Location. And awesome shower!
- Very quirky room, unusual shape, big L shape, great windows and view, only downside heating via air con system quite noisy
Cons -
- The only downside was that our room had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. We informed the staff, and although they assured us it had been cleaned, the smell was still present. We are not sure whether it was coming from another room or through the air conditioning, but it slightly affected our overall comfort.
- Rooftop bar was never open - understandable given the weather, but sorry not to experience it
- It’s old - not renovated. The room given first was mistaken, then changed. A lot of back and forth, and one of staff member seemed bothered when I went back to the reception and ask for another room. Because that one smelled weird + it was not the room I booked. The room that I got after, had a part of the cabinet under the sink that when I touched, it felt on my foot and it injured my ankle badly. It became bruised and swollen, and I couldn’t walk on it for a few days. It still hasn’t recovered yet. Nice stay, what can I say.

The rooms are nice but the 3 person room with a bathroom in the middle and a see through shower really didn’t provide a lot of privacy. Would have been better as a single or a couples room
Beautiful decor and location but some more comfort amenities would have been nice. The bellhop and carts to bring bags up to the room were not readily available.
Nicely presented and clean.
The big oval view was facing the side of a building
The location is perfect everything is walk distance. Beautiful room abd very clean. The staff was very hospitable and polite.
Comfy, modern, small, clean and beautifull location - 200 m from StephansplatzStuff friendly and helpfull.
Location
The table had stains some furniture had the paint coming off the electric shade did not work . It is 5 stared but has no gym, no spa , no room service.
The room was nicely decorated. It did have a small balcony which had views over the rooftops and nearby Cathedral. It was nice to have a way to let fresh air in. The bathroom is luxurious. The staff are very nice and helpful.
Some parts of the room were a bit underlit particularly around the wardrobe area. It was very dark. The room is a funny shape which didnt let in much natural light. The hotel only has 1 lift. The bedroom is slightly cramped but it is a city centre hotel and maybe we booked a smaller size room. Toiletries are no longer Penhaligions but are a local luxury brand.
I was staying at Lamée, loved everything about this place. The rooms are clean, stylish, and impressively quiet thanks to the great soundproofing. The bed was a dream! The staff were lovely and always ready to help. Being right in the centre made exploring easy, and ending the night at the rooftop bar with those views was the icing on the cake. 10/10
Only two members of the staff were very helpful
Too old and they never changed the bed sheets until I asked
Incredible hotel, so comfortable, welcoming and warm staff, and the drinks voucher for the rooftop was a lovely touch. The views from there were mind blowing! The room itself was warm, cosy & beautifully decorated. It felt very high end without breaking the budget! Great location 6 min walk from public transport and easy to navigate on foot around the city.

In the center.
We stayed for five nights. A glass broke on the first day, and during the entire stay the floor was never properly cleaned or vacuumed. The glass fragments remained on the floor the whole time. The staff ignored our complaints, there was a lack of security in the hotel building, and the cleanliness was very poor.
Location was perfect close to st Stephen’s cathedral close to U Bahn lots of food options close by.Walking distance to shopping strips most sights and museums lots of options for coffee and cake.Staff were very friendly and breakfast was ok.Great rooftop bar and cocktails in the Lamee building ,quite reasonably priced.
Rooms could some more furniture ,our suitcases were on the floor.Heating was not working properly so they bought us a portable heater to the room to help heat the room up.
Location
Room 11 first floor, avoid , avoid, avoid. Balcony door was not fit for purpose.
It was clean, tidy, very comfortable and well presented! The staff were very helpful. On arrival it became apparent booking.com had not informed the hotel we were bringing our daughter despite her being on the booking!! This was not a problem for the hotel, they added a bed to our room within a few minutes, no fuss - great service thank you.
Nothing, it was simply lovely.
Location of course. Easy walk to virtually everywhere in the Inner stadt. Vienna is so very elegant. Get off the shopping lanes and see the beauty of the city. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous.
The rooftop bar at Lamee Building. Don't waste your time or Euros.
Perfect location—literally steps from Stephansplatz. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and they did a wonderful job arranging bouquets and a birthday surprise for our daughter, which made our stay feel extra special. The rooftop bar is a real highlight, with an amazing view of St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
One minor downside: one of the rooms we booked was quite cold, and we had to request an additional heater. Overall, though, a great stay and we would gladly return.
