Pros +
- The Rosewood is an impressive and beautifully executed hotel. The room was elegant and thoughtfully designed, the bed was by far the most comfortable I slept in during my entire 21-day Europe trip, and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. The location is exceptional — perfectly central and within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and major sights, which made exploring the city effortless. What truly sets the property apart, however, is the service. The attention to detail and level of care from the staff were outstanding. The concierge team, in particular, was exceptional — incredibly professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful throughout my three-day stay. Their support made a real difference and elevated the entire experience.
- - impeccable service from bell room to housekeeping- spacious room and perfect noise proofing - large bathroom - well equipped, and loved the heated floor- perfect location right in the middle of action - quality of breakfast- cleanliness of the property
- Beautiful, quiet, great central location, excellent restaurant.
Cons -
- There is very little to fault in terms of quality or service. The only consideration is value. At approximately $900 per night, this is clearly a luxury splurge. While the experience, comfort, and service are excellent, it is a price point best suited for travelers who are comfortable spending at that level consistently.
- - defined on the pricy side of the 5 stars, but honestly given the quality of the staff and property, it’s “relatively” affordable
- Maybe the structure of how the bathroom was divided was not very convenient.

Beautiful, quiet, great central location, excellent restaurant.
every one in the restaurants were excellent at their. the breakfasts were excellent served by a young man that aimed to please.....great English, witty, knowledgeable.....just pure delight to start the day.
The location was one of the key reasons why I chose this hotel! Absolutely stunning place and also friendliness of staff
Maybe the structure of how the bathroom was divided was not very convenient.
Unique building in incredible location.
Only issue was the lifts seemed to have problems - with only 2 lifts it seemed under-serviced.
Superb breakfast and very thoughtful and attentive staff
The wash basin sink in the bathrooms towards the upper edges were not as clean as they should be..
Location was perfect as I had meetings in the city centre. The staff was also friendly.
Restaurant was not meeting my expectations, the breakfast had to be mainly ordered and therefore takes much longer as well as you can not combine more dishes in small portions, but order only one and you are full. The room was not cozy, very spaceous but cold. There was no working table where I could sit and work comfortably on a PC for some time. There was noone in the SPA reception 2 times I came there. My room was not cleaned for 2 days. They said my "do not disturb" button was on, but I didn't even know I had one. So, someone should guide me through the room when I came and explain the buttons and lightning (it took me some time to find out how to increase the volume of lights as it was very dark).
The hotel is definitely of a very high standard. The room was spacious, fully equipped, and it was evident that great attention was given to even the smallest details. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the city, yet the entrance is so discreet that it offers a quiet and private retreat. The breakfast was great, more Western than local, but still very good.
We were a bit disappointed that the room we booked faced the hotel’s internal patio, which wasn’t as expected. The spa was fine but rather standard – I had hoped for a more unique and engaging experience, especially given the quality of the hotel.
Exceptional
The lady from reception was very slowly and after 40 mins waiting she said the room are nor ready but the time was 20:00 PM ............. then the Manager give us a room....
The breakfast, the decoration
Ther is not swimming pool
Staff were all exemplary .. couldn’t be better
Restaurant needs a new Chef … awful Rooms need more facility’s to compete at this level … park Hyatt at same price is twice the size
Love style of the hotel, design and location.
Rooms are worn off, marble in the bathroom needs polishing, walls are dirty (!!), unacceptable for this type of luxury property. As a whole the hotel gives impression that is not well kept and maintained. Looks overused, luxury vibe is lost.
wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding experience at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality, professional and friendly staff, and exceptional service.Your team goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The hotel’s location, so close to the heart of Vienna, makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The dining experience was also remarkable, with a great selection of high-quality dishes and excellent service. Every detail, from the ambiance to the attentive staff, contributed to an unforgettable stay.Thank you for maintaining such high standards and creating a truly remarkable experience. I look forward to returning in the future
Location was great. Breakfast was good. Loved the separate room for the toilet. Having a bathtub was awesome after a long day sightseeing in uncomfortable shoes!
Excellent hotel, staff and location. Food was one of the best I've ever had coming from a hotel.
Turn down service could be more elaborate for the price.
The comfort and style of the place were great. It’s a five star hotel that doesn’t disappoint. The staff are exceptionally friendly here, (they really are lovely) and the location is superb - a short walk to all the art galleries (which was the purpose of my visit) other than the Belvedere which is located further out but which is also easily reached by public transport in about 25 minutes. It was also 20 minutes to the airport by taxi which was important to me as it was a whirlwind visit. It’s a very nice 5 star hotel in a lovely part of the Innere Stadt. The Brasserie Hoheit on the top floor serves very good food and wine, is surprisingly very good value and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The trout, sardines were delicious as was the artisanal bread and the Californian Chardonnay preserved by Coravin worked out as only £14.10 per glass - that is unheard of in London. The staff were again so friendly and pleasant.
Well…not much to not like. The gym is on the small side but I’ve seen smaller in five star hotels in Paris. It was fine and I used it once. 2 treadmills, hand weights only but it was fine for me that day. There is no pool. The room was on the pricey side given its size. I took a junior suite and it was actually about what you’d pay in central London. Very nice but by no means a bargain and a teeny bit small for £1500 per night? Nice large marble bathroom with bath and separate shower though.
Very good location, very clean! Also services was soo good and very friendly!Definitely from now we will staying in this hotel again and again….
Enjoyed!
I had a health issue, there was nothong from hotel to offer.“Do not disturb” sign..cleaning lady was bathering a lot
Fantastic location/ fantastic Staff in each department From Chauffeurs to checking to restaurant to the Bar (extra mixologist) and great housekeeping! It’s a true 5⭐️!
