Amazing Hotel with friendly and professional staff. The breakfast is divine and the interior design makes the atmosphere of the Hotel really unique.

Great location, friendly and professional staff, a very nice room and good bathroom amenities. The personalised Vienna map with curated recommendations was a thoughtful and genuinely useful touch.

The bedroom layout is a little unusual, with the radiator and window positioned directly behind the head of the bed, which is less than ideal.

It's like a boutique hotel. Our suite was beautifully decorated, very clean and has everythingyou need. The breakfast was excellent quality and looks great. The stuff is very polite. The location is good very close to underground if you need.

Excellent location, in the museum district. Walking distance to the main sites. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Classy hotel in a good location , lovely bar & restaurant area, gym was good. Very good helpful staff, my wife left her AirPods in the room & they posted them back to the UK for us, which was much appreciated.

I enjoyed the vibe of the hotel. The hotel was centrally located and close to a lot of sites, the subway, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel offered other amenities we did not access e.g. the sauna, gym, etc. The breakfast was great with a lot of options and accommodated dietary restrictions. We never had dinner at the hotel but the dining area was full every single night. A free glass of wine voucher was provided which was a nice gesture. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was cozy but tight, in particular the bathroom and the space as you first walk into the room where the closet and entrance to the bathroom is. Not the hotel's fault but something to be mindful of for guests when reserving a room. We booked a double room.

A unique and vibrant hotel. We had the room with balcony (702). It also had a record in player with albums which we enjoyed listening to while sitting on our balcony. The food was mainly vegetarian but delicious. It was actually good for us after our travels. The only down side was the building across the street but that was fairly easy to look beyond due to all of the other hotel pluses.

Staff was great! No complaints.

Hotel Gilbert is by far one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in across the world. It is in a fantastic location, within walking distance and public transport to conveniently get around must-see’s in Vienna. The atmosphere and design are modern, while still feeling cosy and practical. It has one of the best hotel gyms we’ve ever seen and plenty of open seating areas to use and feel like you’re at home. We stayed over Christmas and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, with housekeeping even leaving us chocolates on Christmas Day. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and we loved the seating in the restaurant downstairs.

We could not fault Hotel Gilbert, we would recommend to anyone that is travelling to Vienna.

The location near the museum quarter and decoration of the main area

The basic requirement of a hotel advertising a bar and restaurant is that food and drink is available to hotel guests. This was not the case, on arrival we were informed that the hotel bar and restaurant was closed on Sunday and Mondays and the only option available from the hotel for food was a packet of crisps.

Room was very nice and beds were super comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered vegan options which we really appreciated! Location was great and easy to walk all around the city.

The only suggestion would be to offer hair conditioner for guests to use in the shower.

Location was great, 5 minutes walk to the centre of the town. the Bed was really really comfortable. The reception staff were amazing.

The suit could have had more space for clothes, the restaurant only really served vegetarian food, and the reception was in the restaurant. The bar should be on the upper level and make the bar a large reception area. Also you needed to carry your suitcases up the stairs to reception.

Very nice and cosy hotel, good location and friendly staff.The hotel restaurant is very good for dinner.

Walls are thin, we can hear very clearly when guests in adjacent rooms came in and out.Shower stream is a bit weak.

Hotel was in a fantastic location, staff were friendly, bar was lovely with a gorgeous wood burner to keep you warm. Room was good size and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

• Not being able to check in earlier / check out later, even when offering to pay for a late check out. But I understand that this wouldn’t always be possible if the hotel is fully booked, but a late check out means checking out at 12/1pm rather than 11am, so there’s still time before the next check in (at 3pm).
