Pros +
- Room was functional and comfortable
- Clean , Modern , comfortable , wonderful location
- the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
Cons -
- Not having a phone in the room was definitely a problem. Finding the way back to the hotel from the subway was difficult.
- Breakfast... only available as buffet style is very expensive (especially if you only want a continental breakfast to start the day, we ate breakfast at a local cafe around the corner for a 1/3rd of the cost) and there is no dinner option at the hotel (you have to eat out) which is a hassle if you arrive late
- We arrived at the hotel at 11:00 am and were asked to return after 3:00 pm, but before 6:00 pm (?!), for check-in. At 3:00 pm, there was a long queue, and the check-in process was unusually slow. When we finally reached the reception desk, we were informed that only one of the two double rooms we had booked was available, and we would need to return later and wait in line again for the second room. Our request to pay for both rooms immediately and collect the second key later was refused. The available double room, priced at €228 per night, was extremely small and contained only a bed, a small table, one footstool, and a single paper cup per guest for a two-day stay. The balcony, shared with another room, had such a small divider that guests could easily cross to the other side. Of course, this didn't give a feeling of security. Additionally, the complimentary bottle of still water was not provided to guests who booked via Booking.com. Despite our initial request to have rooms close to each other, we had to be happy to have them on the same floor.I feel sorry for the young staff members at reception (Claudia and Yannis), who had to explain these unusual hotel policies to dissatisfied guests and appeared rude—not by choice, but due to the circumstances.

Location is excellent. The room was quiet, but a little small for two people with luggage. No safe in the room. This being the third stop on my trip, I was disappointed that there wasn't anything hot to eat.
great location (close to a number of good cafes and restaurants) , really nice room....and helpful staff (even though bar staff were always busy)

Terrible for solo female traveler
there is no lock on the inside of room. no phone to reach front desk. no refrigerator
Great location, easy access to metro, trams. Room was compact and cozy.
It would be great if the rooms included a kettle or coffee machine with tea bags or coffee capsules for added convenience.
Perfect location, comfortable, stuff welcoming at the check in and out.
Lack of facilities because it is a 3 stars hotel.
Close walk to the Markets and beautiful architecture.
Rooms were very small, no room for suitcases
Great location, stylish decor, clean
Very small rooms. Uncomfortable beds/bedding
The location is fabulous! We could walk to everything we wanted to do.
The rooms are tiny and no safe, refrigerator or coffeemaker.
Beds and pillows comfortable. Staff very friends, bar in lounge has good prices.
Room hot for us.
Good locationNice decor in lobby
Tiny room which could work, but didn’t. We’ve stayed at numerous Motel One hotels but this one was not a comfortable place to stay for 2 people for anything more than overnight. The only furniture in the room was a bed, small desk and ottoman. No place for luggage. We had 2 large suitcases and carryons and in order to open, we had to place one suitcase on the small desk and the other on the ottoman. Forget opening the carryons. No phone, so if you need to talk to reception, you have to go downstairs. No safe, which is a problem for those people who have to travel with a passport.Unlike other Motel Ones, there was only one bar to hang coats and clothes. Since it ran along the wall, the hangers had to hang sideways limiting what you could hang. Ridiculous! Tiny night tables that were like the smallest you could get from IKEA.
Modern classic & sleek hotel within Inner Stadt. A hop & skip away from Vienna State Opera, the Albertina, Burggarten, Cafe Mozart, St. Charles Church, & many attractions. Karlsplatz U bahn station is steps away. Many colorful districts are within 15-30 minutes walking distance. Room was spacious with a window view of inner courtyard. Bed was comfy & moderate lighting was perfect. Cozy interiors. Location is unbeatable. Big variety of nearby eateries & bars. Would love to stay here again in the future.
There were 2 staff members at reception that were slightly rude. Also the hotel room numbers & placement are unusual & a bit confusing to locate.
Very good location for visiting opera and other central attractions, korect breakfast, exceletnt agreement with the opera Parking Garage which costs for hotel One guests 22 €
No wardrobe for the clothes
Hotel was in a lovely old building, very beautifully decorated. Staff was amazing. Rooms were small but very comfortable and clean. This hotel is so close to galleries museums and of course the Opera House in Vienna. could not have found a more convenient and pleasant place to stay. Highly recommended.
No complaints
Our stay was awesome! Very comfortable rooms with very comfortable bed. The breakfast included was delicious and a lot of variety of food and drinks. Hotel was at a walking distance of all main historic buildings and Vienna State Opera building right behind hotel
Very good location, walking distance to every main attraction.
Small room. Not much choice for breakfast.
