Austria Trend Hotel Maximilian

Great location, adjacent to the Schonbrunn Park. Very close to subway line U4, makes access to the Centrum area very easy. Great restaurant adjacent to the hotel - Cafe Schloss.

Parking is an issue but there is a Park & Ride Hutteldorf appx 10 min drive, but it is located adjacent ( and is connected to ) the parking garage which is 4 stops from the Hietzing station less than 5 min from the hotel.

Closeness to subway and Schonbrunn. There are also some quick bites very close which were quite good.Bed and bedding was really comfortable.It was pretty clean.

Heater made noise, for the longest time I kept thinking someone was showering but after maybe 2h they still showered so then I realized it was actually the heater that was making noise so I had to stop it.The coffee machine was not cleaned. The water tank had a lot of residue.

Comfortable quiet room, everything is new. Location is ideal for Schönbrunn, 10~15 minutes walk to the Christmas market.

I recommend Ekazent parking, 30 Euros for 24 hours

The rooms are actually better compared to the sister hotel Schönbrunn and very roomy. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

1) The mattress was worn on one side and had some indentation. But it was minor. 2) Parking: long distance to parking garage and the parking was €85 for two days. No direct place to stop the car at the main entrance for unloading the luggage.

Got a quite big room at the end of the corridor, I really liked it … !! Quite pleasing & functional interior design there …

prices are somewhat elevated already, but that’s the case almost in the whole of Vienna …

Nice location, very central location in Vienna for historical tours & attending Seminars in the 13th district....

the parking garage is quite of a horrendous experience, DON'T TRY IT unless you are a REALLY EXPERIENCED driver ... !!!

The Room:We were super happy with our room! It was really clean, and beautifully decorated. The air conditioning was fantastic, which made our stay so comfortable. The bathroom was also well-equipped. We especially loved that our room had a coffee machine and that it was refilled with coffee and tea every day. It was a wonderful, peaceful spot to come back to after a long day of exploring.Funny note about the windows. They only have these thick curtains, which are great for blocking out light, but not so much for privacy if you want to see outside. There are also great venetian blinds, but if you close them, all the natural light is gone, and the room becomes a cave. So, it was a bit of a funny little dance between having light and not having pedestrians see in! but it is something that subjectively bothered me but it didn't ruin the whole hotel experience.Service and Staff:The team was so polite and helpful. The housekeeping team did an excellent job, cleaning our room and changing our towels every day. We did have to ask a couple of times for slippers, but they were provided quickly. Location:The hotel's location is a total win. It's right next to the beautiful Schönbrunn Palace gardens, which are perfect for amazing evening strolls. The area isn't crowded at all and has tons of great places to grab dinner, snacks, or an ice cream on a summer day. With a tram stop and a metro station right nearby, it was super easy to get around and see all of Vienna.Amenities:We didn't get a chance to check out the spa, sauna, or breakfast, but we did enjoy the coffee at a hotel garden. It was a very quiet, beautifully decorated space. The service was excellent, and the coffee was delicious. It was a lovely place to relax.

The room was clean, spacious. The bed was comfortable, bedsheets clean and of good quality. Bathroom was well maintained, clean and properly equipped

Room, clean hotel, food on breakfast, staff is very kind and helpful, location quite and near the tram and the metro and close to the Shernborn gardens, many cafe and restaurants around, supermarket and fine bakery very close. Parking close to hotel facility payment per hour or daily

It could have been nice if the furnitures in the balcony was available. But it was still a good thing that a note was left on the room to inform us that they are not available during our stay.

We really enjoyed the stay.Facilities were excellent. The room was very clean, shower pressure was really nice, and tap water was really tasty.Staffs were very friendly and supportive.

Loved the spacious big room and the fantastic shower. The breakfast was great too. As was the comfy bed. A special thank you to the lovely Anna Maria on Reception. She is a credit to this hotel. Warm, helpful and welcoming.

Plug in sink didn't work and coffee machine was poor. But these are minor things. Bath towels not replenished and we were left with only one between us! Dirty cups also not removed and replaced.

The staff were really outstanding. Such helpful and attentive people that work there. The room was beautiful and super comfortable. Everyone made us feel welcome. We also really appreciated the early check in. Made our day so much easier! :)

The only thing that we would change are the heavy doors in the room (to bathroom). I think mostly because children would not be able to open them and in case of a fire this would be a problem.

Hotel location is great. Very close to Schonbrunn palace and zoo. And you will be connected to everywhere using Hietzing metro station. It was clean, cosy and silent.

Everything! The hotel is amazing, great location with the subway 5 min walk that takes you anyway.Rooms were very clean, cozy and comfortable.To come back for sure.

Lovely hotel and facilities, location a little out of the centre but near where we were having meetings. Good value for money and clean

Single duvets on a double bed I always find curious.

Room - Large, nice design, even has a reading chair. Bed large and comfy, pillows perfect.Power points - adequate number of plus and enough USB recharging points.Condiments - Tea & Coffee with a kettle are in the room.TV - Local channels in German but SkyNews, CNN, BBC, Aljazeera available in English. Bathroom - large and comfortable. Hairdryer worked wonderfully.

Room Cleaning - I selected option to not have room cleaned daily or towels replaced daily, but this led to the trash & toilet bins not being emptied too Breakfast - expensive at 21e daily, or 28e for a one-off brekkie.Gym - small but adequate, however lacks any fresh air (it is located in the basement) Bathroom door - works on a spring-close system, so it never remains open.

Lovely clean, beautifully smelling hotel. Fantastic large rooms with great facilities. Gorgeous bathroom.

Didn't go for breakfast but felt €28 per person was excessive

The hotel is beautiful, excellent location. We were at the ball and enjoyed the night in the hotel after, nice breakfast and a walk in the area, very special church next to the hotel and of course Schönbrunn Park and Castle.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room was very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was kind and accomodating. The hotel is 2 minutes away from the metro station and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. We fully enjoyed our time here!
