Hotel Calmo

The room had everything we needed, the Smart TV was very appreciated. Heating was good, Housekeeping did great work too. The location met all of our needs, good dining and regular shopping options very close to the hotel. Breakfast met my expectations, I only regret arriving too late to catch some eggs but that is my own fault. Potentially returning in the future if the situation calls for it.

Really convenient location and clean room , the staff is really nice, you can get there straightly with tram,good environment.

Easy to get around to the center city. The tram station is just 50 m away from the hotel. Clean hotel, warm, great wifi, everything you need

The room is wide and clean

I booked a room with bathtub but the room I got did not have one, the hotel is right next to tran station so the sound is disturbing

Clean, comfortable, staff is pleasant

The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. I liked that we had a partial view of the heating plant and that we could hear the parrots from next door :)

I missed the slippers and the coffee kettle

Air conditioner doenst work but anyway it was warm in the room

The hotel was very close to the metro and tram stations, which is great for getting to the inner city quickly. The room was spacious enough, clean, the mini refrigerator was a nice bonus, and the staff were kind and attentive.

The bath could be improved in terms of water spillage coverage when showering while standing, even by installing a shower curtain to replace the half-glass wall, so you don't stand crampeld in that half area, not to spill the water on the floor.

check in- self check in on PC failed - did not read the credit card- long queue at the check-in-desk, resulting in long waiting time- issues to get my invoice printed resulting in further 5 min waitingno free of charge shuttle to terminal

The staff was amazing. They helped me a lot. The lady at the front desk was super kind. You have the public transport to main train station at 2 min from the building. Also, the public bikes are super close. The bath and bed were very comfortable.

It was really good. The air conditioning a bit slow during summer time but it's ok. Everything was good.

It’s not big but good hotel. We like it. We stayed there the second time.

The room is comfortable, only the shower is a bit small.Perfectly clean, the air conditioner is working nicely. I've read the previous comments about the noise but it really wasn't that bad, though if you are having problems with sleep it might be annoying (I don't have such a problem ?).The mattress and the pillow are very comfortable and you can have a ?.Tram station ? is in front of the hotel and line D is very well connected with the city center.Even the walk to the city center is not overwhelming, it takes about 40 minutes of slow pace walk to get to Stephansplatz.The check in and out are very smooth.WIFI works perfectly.For the price I didn't expect such a good accommodation in the center of Wien.

The bathroom is a bit too small and the bathtub gets full of water while showering

General lack of maintenance, the room clearly needed renovation: walls and furniture were old, ruined and stained, the bath tub was clogged-up.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel no complaints , clean ,a large room. Bonus with a bath and shower. Lovely soak after all the walking.Ideal with tram outside. We were overlooking the courtyard so noise from the trams never affected us. Ideal hotel for getting into the city.

A coffee vending machine in the reception area would be a bonus…

The room was clean. The pillows we're comfortable. The towels were changed after two days. I was able to sleep on the bed with a good mattress.

The tram lines are going back and forth right outside our window. If you're a light sleeper, you might not be able to sleep.

Close to tram, parking garage in the hotel and there's also a bigger parking garage in the corner close to the hotel, clean rooms.

The bathroom drainage in Room 504 is very slow. I suspect there's a hair clog stuck in there. Please use a "drain snake" which is a long device that you insert and twist in the drain to remove hair clog.

The breakfast food was nice. The breakfast staff were amazing, very kind, smiley, and caring.

The boss receptionist was rude. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The place is too noisy, you hear the trains all the time, and still they call it "Calmo", this is deceiving.

It is quite close to central, in c. 15min you get to Hofburg on the tram. Staff was really nice and very helpful, definitely 100% for them.It' s a relatively simple, bit outdated, but good value for money hotel.

Cleanness of the floor and walls were not that great and wish they had a kettle & 2 chairs in the double room.
