Lenas Donau Hotel

It is close to the transport.

Upon booking one the of receptionist is not alert with the room that I selected and she gave me the worst room and it is smelly. I hope she double check the reservation and didn’t focus with persons hair color.

The location is strategic and easily accessible by public transportation (U-Bahn train)

There is no cable TV service, the facilities are quite minimal (no mini freezer, safe, hot water thermos or even toothbrush)

The fact that they send you spam emails to the build up of your stay and then even WhatsApp about checking in at 1 o clock in the morning .Was not impressed . And I’m still waiting for my invoice

I was disappointed with the state of the room, particularly the floor and the lack of cleanliness. The bed linens and blankets were not changed, which I find unacceptable.

It was hard to sleep because of the noise from the main street, uncomfortable bed.

The brekfast is good but it does not have much varieties .It deiver similar type the whole week .

5 min walk to metro station. In front of bus And tram stop. In front of mc donald. All perfect.

We were charged twice and the staff couldn’t even explain or communicate to us, blaming us that something is wrong with our bank, and they don’t know why it happened. The rooms are very old, old style TV and furniture. Finally in a few weeks our payment was paid back but the problem caused a lot of inconvenience for us. Communication was really poor. Also there are no amenities like fridge or something. Only bed, little wardrobe and so little space for everything. We were not satisfied at all.

This time was cleaner than las time, except one glass in the bathroom.

I liked 24/7 check-in, and always available and friendly guys on the Front desk. Very comfortable and nice place for its value! Danube (Alte Donau) is also there for you in the neighbourhood.

Can be not very convenient with children, but if you travel alone or as a couple, it's good!

Great value for the price. 24h reception, everything went smooth. Nice tidy room. Was travelling with a dog and it was nice to take a walk by the river in the morning, theyre pet friendly, there is just a 10 eur extra to pay.

The parking cost was 20 not 15 as I had read online. Not much difference though and they have a safe and comfortable yard for parking. Other option would have been leaving the car on the street, plenty of spaces available close by and on weekends its free, but as I preffered to leave some luggage in the car, I preferred a private parking.

Very clean. Tram stop right outside the door. Room was lovely and warm. Staff friendly.

I love the location , has supermarket and McDonald, 700 meters to the farmaci, perfect location ’ I will book again for my next visit ’

Zero Value for Money

- The accommodation is totally outdated- There is no king-size bed instead two single beds connected together where you feel the gap in between- The elevator is scary feels like it will break down any time- No water or coffee machine in the room

Bathroom smelling like shit , we took 2 hotel rooms and both of them was smelling like shit , in rest for this money was enough.

A happy choiceWe had read many bad reviews about this hotel and they scared us when we made the reservation but we still took the risk and came here.It is located close to the metro / Kagran or Alte Donau ~ 5/10 min from where you can get to the center very quickly, we used Kagran, next to it there is a Bila store for small purchases, at a tram stop there is a shopping center / Westfield Donau Zentrum / which has a very good large food court area.The hotel is ok, the rooms are clean, there is heat in the room / December / good breakfast, sweet, savory & fruit dishes, coffee score 7.5. It has its own parking 25 eur / day, but we did not put the car here, after taking the luggage to the room, we left the car at this parking lot:https://maps.app.goo.gl/v19663wGpfgtrRnS8it is 3 metro stations away and we paid 19 eur / week but you have to make a reservation online the day before arrival, if you want for fewer days it is 4 eur / day but you have to go every day and pay for the parking. They also welcomed us with "our 4-legged child" and you can walk him on the Danube embankment which is behind the hotel.The weak point, Wifi which on the 2nd floor was very weak or even non-existent.In the end, the choice of the hotel was a good one.Definitely in the future if we return to Vienna we will stay here

We switched room, from one wing of the hotel to another, first one (216, right corridor) was terrible, second one (360, left corridor) was very good, newer bathroom, better light, more spacious. If we got this room immediately, we would mark the stay with 10.Cleaning staff saved the day when management sent us into a room that wasn't cleaned up after previous tenants left, by quickly cleaning it up for as and making everything ready, kudos for cleaning staff!

Staff is confused and not professional. We where kept outside the room for hours when we switched, just to get into room that was not cleaned up yet, terrible experience. Got threatening letter on the car, for parking at the hotel parking lot without payment, but were never given heads up that it should be payed for. Breakfast price of 16€ per person is completely ridiculous, especially considering that at booking time it goes for 5-6€ per person.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.The hotel is extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and far below even the most basic standards.The room was uncomfortable, cleanliness was unacceptable, and the staff attitude was rude and unprofessional.Nothing matched the photos or description on Booking.com.This place is completely overpriced for what it offers.I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid it.
