Hotel Montana

30 second walk from Gare de Gen�ve. Size of room is large compared to others in area.

Price is not worth amenities. Room was very basic and dated with cracked ceilings and paint that looked like it could be mold or water damage. No decor or fixtures. The lamp and lampshade fell apart barely touched it.

It's location and breakfast

The room heater is weak making the room very cold during winter time .

Very convenient for station and for sightseeing - getting down to the lake

The hotel was close to the centre and transport hubs; we were able to check in early; staff were friendly; overlooking a busy street, but still very quiet.

It would need a little updating

breakfastI do not care about variety as such but the coffee was terrible and so was yogurt and bread. It would have been much better not to pay for breakfast and just go out to a nearby cafe.

Helpful staff. Swiss plugs provided. Replaced broken kettle quickly. Generally pleasant staff.

Switzerland is very expensive so weensy you get for roughly 160 gbp a night is basic, however it's a lovely clean basic place with everything you need. Bathrooms in swiss hotels in general need to be modernised.

Location is quite good next to the train station and near to the waterfront. 15-20mins walk to the old town also

The room was a bit stuffy and the air conditioner was not working well. No hand towel provided also only bath towel provided. Basic facilities provided good enough for sleeping after a day walking around Geneva.

Great city hotel, close to the station, the lake and the town centre. It is a good city hotel.

Master room size is good while the other room is too small.

Hotel location is brilliant - so close to the train station and a short walk to the Lake.Breakfast was really lovely and served in a delightful room.Beds were comfy.

We were in a ground floor room, and people congregated outside our window talking loudly until late at night and were sometimes smoking, which then drifted into our room.

Amazing amazing amazing! The location is close to the train station that takes you straight to the airport, close to the restaurants and the staff are very friendly and willing to give you must see ideas. The booking even came with a free travel pass which let me ride on all buses, boats and trains free! Stayed here due to a canceled flight but so grateful I was able to see Geneva and Hotel Montana

Great position near Gare Cornavin and Gare Routiére, friendly staff. V. Good wi-fi. Several restaurants close by. Nespresso machine ( but no milk) in room. Hot water in shower easy to control ( unlike several hotels!)

Needs maintenance ( squeaky door hinges, loose toilet seat). Fairly noisy room at front...bin men come 06.30 on Mondays. A/C not functional (hot). Breakfast pretty basic.
