The New Midi Hotel

A comfortable hotel in a great location, a few steps from the river and the bridge to the old city and the shopping district. Nice lobby, an espresso machine in the room, relatively spacious room and bathroom.

The shower door is of a weird construction that would leak water onto the floor if you are not very careful. Bath is high, may be challenging for some people to get in and especially out of it. Wifi is slow sometimes.

The location was great, 10min walk till the lake. Bed was nice and in general had a nice time there.

The room was clean but not super clean for instance, there was a layer of dust on the hair dryer in the bathroom, or the TV remote control had dust. I think no one using them for long time :D The air condition setup was hard, and there wa no instruction

Location is fantastic. Room have two full bathrooms, that was unusual that said useful. Clean and nice place.

I booked on booking.com for 6 people, and was given the booking selection of 2 rooms, stating a queen bed and a sofa bed in each room. It turns out they have no sofa beds and only have a small sofa (love seat type) in the rooms. The staff tried multiple times to force me to pay for adding extra beds (only later when I got the room I found that reason is that they actually do not have sofa beds). I refused to pay any extra hidden fees, which made the receptionist kind of angry. In the end, I had to call booking.com to help rectify the issue. Took a while to get them on the line, but Booking.com immediately called the manager (sitting in the sister property across the street) and told her that my booking is for 6 people in two rooms at the agreed price and if they do not have a sofa bed in the rooms as was marked on the reservation, the cost is on them not me. The more detailed account is more unpleasant until the matter was resolved. Basically, some of the staff can be rude and emotional and does not stay focused on the business transaction, while others let things slide and ignore issues. Luckly I was able to communicate with the manager and with the help of bookings.com the matter was resolved. Total 2.5 hours were wasted on this, which is a lot.Apart from that the hotel was ok.

Same chain of the Ambassadors. We had the breakfast at the Ambassador. The location is beautiful by the lake. Many restaurants, cafes, and shops around.

Rooms are small.

A wonderful hotel in a very excellent location, close to Lake Geneva, shopping, and all the tourist attractions. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The staff is very friendly and always smiling.

Just a small note, there was no quilt for the bed, only a bed sheet, which made us feel cold when sleeping.

The rooms were a good size. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect. So close to walk to everything. The junior suite was so spacious. Two bathroomsAnd the sofa bed was actually a twin sized cot/bed in the living room and was quiteComfy.

Coffee bar is removed from the reception early. I remember few years ago coffee was provided for longer hours

Reasonable hotel in central Geneva. Close to the train station, but also close to the old town. The room was great for two people and the price was reasonable in an expensive city.

The bidet in the bathroom made the configuration a little tight.
