The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. At every interaction, they reassured us that they were available to help, which created a very positive and attentive atmosphere throughout the stay. The location is excellent. The hotel is approximately 600–800 meters from the old town, making it easily walkable. For daily needs, a Migros supermarket is located directly across the street, along with a pharmacy and a veterinary clinic. It is also easy to plan outings from the hotel, whether walking toward the old town or heading to the lake. Public transportation is available very close to the property, although we did not need to use it during our stay.

This was our first visit to Geneva, and we were not aware that hotel residences provide free public transportation for the duration of the stay. It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed us of this benefit prior to arrival. Had we known, we could have traveled from the airport to the hotel without purchasing tickets. Since this transportation card is provided by the hotel, digital not hard coly, I believe it is their responsibility to clearly inform guests in advance and offer the necessary guidance before arrival rather than after check in. This was one of the negative points of our experience.Another issue was cleanliness. Although we did not encounter any problems with insects, the closet was visibly dusty. The dust buildup was clearly noticeable and uncomfortable enough that I felt the need to clean it myself. I documented this with photos and shared them accordingly. The room size was smaller than expected compared to the photos. While it was not claustrophobic, it was narrow. There is an above ground train line very close to the hotel. Personally, I do not mind light noise while sleeping, but for light sleepers this could be challenging. Trains pass every 15 to 20 minutes, and the noise is audible inside the room even with the windows and curtains closed. The bathroom was the most problematic aspect of the stay. It was very small and clearly in need of renovation. The tiles and grout were in poor condition, and the shower curtain was plastic rather than a glass partition, which reduced comfort significantly. To avoid spilling water, the curtain had to be placed inside the bathtub, which was inconvenient. The shower head was mounted unusually high. Even at 1.85 meters tall, it felt excessively elevated, and there was no adjustable middle position. There was also no proper place to put soap or toiletries at the bathtub level.Hot water availability was a serious issue.

    Location. Parking (but expensive)

Small room, old, no space to be outside your room. Too pricy for that place.

The location is great. Many bus and tram routes. Lots of restaurants nearby a couple of supermarkets across the street. 12 minute walk to old town.

The hotel needs renovation, the decor is classic that is not an issue but rooms need better lighting, new floors new bathroom fixtures etc. Breakfast is miserable but mine was included. According to my calculations you're getting what you're paying for (the extra for "breakfast included") You will end up paying more than double for a simple coffee and croissant outside. Geneva is expensive.

Great location. Staff very kind and helpful. Decent breakfast

Hotel looks nice but needs a little update. The AC unit was not cooling the room enough

I recommend the hotel. I like it, the location is very much practical and nice, walking distance to all beautiful sightseeing. Staff were very nice , friendly and very much welcoming. The bed, the pillows were very much comfy.

No coffee machine, no electric kettle, and not even a bottle of water! For a 4-star hotel, at the very least, they should provide two bottles of water!

    Great location and wonderful staff

Great solo stop may be cramped unless you get the larger room option

    4SandraPosted on: 4-9-2025

    The location.

For a 4-star, the rooms are old, the heating is not on initially, the safe is not working, very old and needs restoration.

    Good property, bad staff

When my mother originally checked in the on the day, she was specifically told while I was on the phone that the breakfast was included the price. They watched my mother for 3 days have breakfast and changed an extra 100CHF. They said that no staff men ever said this. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. Myself, my sibling and my wife all heard him confirm the breakfast in the price. If they made a mistake then they should have let her know but instead no one took ownership.

Everything was almost perfect. The room was clean, people of the staff were friendly and the location is amazing (really close the central part of Geneva).

The breakfast was too small in my opinion.

    Poor

Found a hair on the bed and one in the shower. The room stunk of old so much that even if it's February, I had the window open almost all the time.Lights going off in the lift scared me a bitBreakfast was quite sad: not much on offer and quite outdated set upFabrizio at the reception was the only good thing about it.Won't return, unfortunately

The room was clean, but a little tired. But for the budget it was adequate. We didn’t opt for the breakfast as it was just continental and not really for us. It was a little noisy right at the front of the hotel but we were in Geneva so not really an issue missus wears ear plugs any way very central ..

Carpets and decor could do with being updated as could the bathroom! Smelly shower curtain!! Wooden sink surround ? .no tea or coffee facilities in the room,.mini bar inside the fridge cabinet a little tired but we didn’t use it. Wardrobe door just about holding on to its hinges but as I said if you are on a budget the hotel diplomate is for you ..

Convenient location, very clean, breakfast good, wi-fi excellent

The bathroom was very small and could have been designed for easier use. But as a single person, it was acceptable.

    Staff was kind

My bed literally had wheels, when laying on it, each side was sliding to the opposite direction of the other. Extremely old furniture, scary elevator, as soon as you get in, lights switch off! I have NO Idea how a hotel in this mediocrity gets 4 Stars, a TOTAL SCAM!The cherry on the cake: the hairdryer was a device that literally belongs to a museum, I jave never seen anything like that!!!
