Cons -
- I wish we stayed longer.
- Top-floor room was absolutely boiling -- at least 6 C above the highest outdoor temperature lasting well into the night. The 5k BTU single-hose portable air conditioner was no match for the heat load, opening a window left the room too warm even the next morning, and the ceiling fan wasn't effective at circulating in air from the outside while also making a fair amount of noise. To be fair to the hotel, we didn't raise this issue to them because we just collapsed from a long trip the first night, and we got back too late the next evening to potentially switch rooms (we thought leaving the AC on all day would cool the room -- it didn't, almost at all).

Very central located to major attractions.
no air conditioner and very basic breakfast.
Nice breakfast, clean room and helpful employees. Also, it is close to center.
AC in roof room was not enough to cool down the room.
Location. Staff very polite and helpful
Beds, clearly the beds were installed to accommodate 4 people, so nothing was very solid. Jacked up prices for the holiday season like all over Switzerland with no quality to show for it.
Do not stay at this property.
I paid for a bigger room but received a completely different smaller room. One bad frame has been broken and it is uncomfortable to sleep. I asked the manager to fix or replace it and nothing was done. The worst part is, that the bad sheets were dirty with someone else black hair all over it. I asked the staff to replace them and they gave us the same dirty sheets of black hair. I had to ask them to replace it again and ensure the sheets were clean. Breakfast is the joke. Absolutely no selection of food and terrible service.
The room was warm and comfortable, and complimentary breakfast was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location gave us a great base to explore the city around us, with plenty of attractions and stores within easy walking distance.
very cozy! Beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Also, a generous check out time
Yes, elevator is a must if you stayed in 5th floor. Place is very near to metro, a 2-3mins walk and 15mins walk to Lake Geneva. Reception & breakfast ladies we're so accomodating, thank you!
For a 5 people with 3 beds, there is only 2 plug-ins and it's just beside in 1 bed. I hope you can install also beside all 2 beds.
The room and the lift..
String smell cigarettes and cannab*s from outside
Well located for public transport to and from city centre and airport.Easy to get buses and trams with Geneva’s free public transport card available when you stay at a Otley.Rome had a fridge, microwave and kettle. Very good sized room.Walking distance to Lake Geneva.
Small bathroom compared to size of bedroom. Could hear a telephone ringing once or twice during the night. One of us could hear the air conditioning.Room needed a few pieces of cutlery and crockery - there was only a few glasses but no cups or mugs for a hot drink or even tea and coffee supplied.
Very good location, staff very friendly and knowledgeable and breakfast excellent.
Nothing, it was a lovely little hotel and reasonable for Geneva
We enjoyed the helpful staff, who couldn't do enough to help. The room for 3 of us was large and bright and very clean. It had everything we needed for the 3 days we were in Geneva & it is in a great location.
Breakfast was very basic. Everything else was as expected.
Family room was perfect for our family of 5, rare to find a room for all of us together. Beds were very comfy. Pepper steak dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Female employee who checked us in and served us dinner was lovely and very helpful and patient with us. As were the two male employees in the restaurant that night.
Central location, very friendly staff.
The breakfast wasn’t amazing
Great location and downtown close by…
Bed wasn’t cleaned and breakfast not option able.
Nice breakfast, good coffee.
Air conditioning did not work and they did little to get it working.
Location is excellent
The staff, breakfast, room that screamed 1970’s.
The staff is very kind and helpful, they speak a variety of languages and are available for all necessities. There is a parking place available ( on payment ). Location is good, the Jetty Fountain can be reached in 10' walk.
The hotel is shabby and really unpleasant. The room we had was a quad, I had originally booked a triple, but had been offered an upgrade, which I accepted. In general, an up-grade should mean a better or better equipped room, in this case it only meant that instead of 3 beds there were 4, of which the double was a real bed, the others were camping cots, uncomfortable and creaky . The room was poorly furnished, with old and dilapidated furniture, bare walls, old bathroom fixtures, peeling in several places. The breakfast was the saddest I've ever had, a well-made cappuccino, but then only old or packaged croissants, a baguette, a packaged jam were also available. There was also a juice and 2/3 types of yogurt, all served in a dusty room furnished perhaps in the 70s of the last century, with plastic flowers on the table, full of dust. A terrible experience, we left early because we didn't like staying there. Geneva is definitely a very expensive city, but the price of this room was absolutely not in line with the service offered, it is not a 3 star hotel, 1 star would be more than adequate to describe the horrible environment. Not recommendable.
