- The hotel was situated close to the old town and lake. The room had been renovated beautifully but still keeping the old style of the building. Great helpful staff.
- Nothing. Horrible.

- Yes. They charged me a huge change fee when my flight was cancelled. Also so unfriendly staff. Also they did not make the room at all. Also there is a bar next door and you can hear fighting all night long and drinks and then when left they wanted money

- The room was dark with buildings around. The sofa was in the intrsnce and unused.

Property was nice and clean. Staff were welcoming. We got room upgrade which made our stay more comfortable. Location is great near by to everything. Breakfast was perfect.
I loved loved loved the beautiful room and the most fabulous service people. There was a front desk lady I absolutely adored and was most helpful to me when I was checking in and out with my little sister.
Nothing. Beautiful location, beautiful room, and service.
Hotel was near top locations near lake and shopping malls everything good for walking and exploring
Room was very tight and toilet also tight other everything was great and staff also
Location is really good.
Although you have a coffee machine in your room, you only get 2 x complimentary coffee pods for your entire stay resulting in having to buy pods from reception on a daily basis in order to have coffee in the morning. Room service is also not done daily as indicated on the website. We had to ask for additional pillows as the room comes standard with only 2 x pillows in total to sleep on.
Location was decent.
I have traveled to over 30 countries and have stayed everywhere from ritz carleton hotels, to rented apartments, to grimy hostels with communal facilities. Hotel Rousseau was, by far, the worst valued lodging I have ever experienced. For being around 170€/night, I would expect clean facilities, acceptable amenities, and kind staff. Instead, we were met with grime, dirt, and a level of unprofessionalism I have never experienced. The hotel itself is, quite frankly, disgusting. The lobby is small, and the hallways are dirty. I know the hotel has been remodeled recently,so the actual rooms are fine. However, the passing areas have not been touched up so the carpets within the common areas on the floors are vile. Though spacious, our room had many issues. The hot water in the showers did not work so we were forced to take cold showers for 3 days. The heating in our room was on a timer, rather than a temperature gauge. This meant it would run for approximately 5 minutes before shutting off and needing to be manually turned on again. When we alerted hotel staff of the issue they sent someone to attempt to fix it. Upon realizing they could not fix the issue they said “Well, it’s not that cold actually” and never attempted to change our rooms or solve the issue in some other way. I have a personal thermometer and the room never went above 18C.When any issue was made evident to staff, they would get on the phone and start yelling at whoever was on the other side. Of course, this made for a very unpleasant experience and we preferred to avoid saying anything.I also never received our Free Geneva Transport card. The hotel staff said that it was emailed but I did not receive it. I actually pulled up my emails to show them but they continued to insist I had received it. I still haven’t found it to this day.Honestly there was so much more wrong with our stay, but at this point i don’t want to relive any of it.
Comfortable, spacious room in great location.
The hotel is close to train station and other areas that I wanted to see. But the hotel was decent overall
The bathroom didn’t have toilet paper holder, it had all the basics and it is priced high for what I expected. I guess that is Geneva and expect to pay high pricing. Also it is located across from noisy middle school and I guess younger kids use the facility for its playground.
Decent location. Kind staff.
Tap water in the bathroom smells like sewage. Disgusting. Restaurant closes and is not available during 2 days/week. Uncomfortable pillows.
Super nice staff, perfect location and slept very well. Simply very good stay and I will be back!
Nothing to not like.
Staff were nice and friendly.
Not so clean, especially the cups near the coffee machine. There is no AC as they have listed, it is just a heater. You cant open the windows in the room we were given which was not so pleasant because there is no means of air circulation.
The location is very good, close to all attractions. You can walk everywhere easily. The train station is 10 min walking distance from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and clean.
The location is the best part - the only good part though.
The heating in the room was extremity noisy. Couldn’t sleep at all. Hence I left 1 night before and booked another hotel. The walls are thin so on top of the heating loud neighbors. The rooms needs a refresh .. there was mold on the wall!!! Pretty sure it breaks sanitary rules. The floors and walls are slightly cracked and dirty.
Perfect location ( walking from train and into town), staff were exceptional . Food was very good. We ate dinner and breakfast in hotel and neither disappointed. Our waitress was from Hungary and very nice and accommodating! Happy hour in the bar was the high point of our stay as the local wine was delicious ( made on location) and the bartender was one of the best in service on our trip thru Italy and Switzerland!!
There was nothing I could complain about for this property
The location was great! Close to the train station and the lake and many restaurants.
I didn't like the room on the 1st floor. The carpet in that area was disgusting. It would have been nice to be higher up with more of a view of the city. I think when we book thru Booking.com we always end up with a low floor that looks out at nothing. I also did not like the shower in our room. It was for wheelchairs and sprayed all over the place.
Modern good location
Food choices limited
Close to bus stations
No shelf in shower. Bathroom was small with no good shelves Stayed 4 nights and had to pay for coffee pods if we wanted coffee. No coffee served unless purchased breakfast.
