Residence Inn by Marriott Geneva City Nations

I worked in the hospitality industry my entire career; specifically in 4 & 5 star hotels. I thought 4 star hotels have restaurants & more amenities like sauna, pool, jacuzzi, and more suites. Other than that I am really pleased and will be back.

No, other than the regular rooms are on the small side for an extended stay and only one 2 bedroom suite is available. The 2 bedroom suite is the perfect size for long term stays.

We came to Vienna to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The initial room was small and the clerk was very kind and changed our room.

The staff was very nice and could give us the rooms earlier than the check-in time. Breakfast was good as well.

Location and the friendliness of the staff, especially Lea. Lea is very kind and helpful. She guided me to places to visit, and how I can purchase tickets to travel outside of Geneva and the apps to download. All the staff were very kind, helpful and professional, but Lea to me was outstanding. She is a leader on her own rights.

More washers and dryers and a spacious area. I was surprised how expensive it was to wash one load of clothes. Usually, Residence Inn Marriott’s laundry is free. Customers are already paying a lot to stay in the hotel but to charge them 12 francs to wash one load of clothes was extreme.

Zakariya was real efficient at getting me into my room, precise and swift, al I wanted is laying in bed after a long drive and he made it possible, check out with Alicia was equally remarkable even with a bit of compassion asking me if I again had a long drive ahead of me, thanks a lot for your professionalism without losing sight of our human sides!Also and very importantly, thank you the cleaning team, my suite was impeccable.

Breakfast was nice! Staff was friendly and attentive. I do not speak French, but all the staff that I interacted with spoke Englush. They held our luggage before our room was ready, and when we left for a few days they held some of our luggage until we returned a few days later.

I think the sheets on the bed were cooling sheets, and they felt "wet" when you first got in bed.

The apartment was close to geneva airport, like ten minutes away by foot from one of the largest malls and the bus station.Additional and clean bathtowels daily .Breakfast was good and we did not experience shortage of breakfast as it seems to be the big complaint from past visitors who have left comments on this property.

The pictures on booking.com appears to be bigger than the apartment. We stayed around 7 nights but bedsheets were changed only twice. Also bathroom cleaning was done three times only instead of daily. The dishes in the apartment particularly glasses weren't well cleaned so we had to wash them before use.

‏It has a modern design and is located in a nice, quiet area next to a public park where we could enjoy walking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was simple yet delicious. One of the best perks was receiving public transport tickets for Geneva for the entire duration of my stay.

The room was very cramped and not suitable for two people. The cleaning service was poor; during my six-day stay, they did not tidy up the room or the bathroom, and the towels were changed without a proper clean. Additionally, the air conditioning was a bit too warm.

Cleanliness of the bedroom, good breakfast and super friendly and helpful reception. Generous with food and making you feel they look after you.

The location is in a safe and nice neighborhood but is away from the center. 6 min walk to the bus to get to the city center, or 12 min walk to catch the tram.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and it is in a very quiet and peaceful area.The gym, while small, was impeccably clean and almost brand new Technogym cardio machines (1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 rower, 1 stationary cycle). Dumbbells went up to 14kg. The hotel has a self-service laundry which just costs 12 CHF for both use of the washing machine and dryer. There are 2 of each on the laundry. They give you 2 'jetons' for the washing machine, and 1 for the dryer. They also can do your laundry for you at a cost of 50 CHF, but you'll need to get in your request Monday-Friday. It's not available on the weekend.Very large shower, especially for one person. Shower gel, conditioner, and shampoo are provided. Soap and hand cream are also provided.Kitchen wise, it has two pots and pans, a stovetop, and a microwave and kettle. Would recommend taking or buying your own microwavable container and scissors. Blinds can be fully closed at the click of a button and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning is very effective in both directions, or it can be turned completely off.

The power point near the desk didn't really work, nor did any of the usb ports (well, at least not for charging).If the kitchen had a microwavable container and kitchen scissors, that would be amazing.

It was close to the airport. The staff was nice. They had a buffet breakfast. Tram nearby to go to the center of Geneva

There is no porter to help with luggage. So if you are old or having a problem in your back, consider it, the brackfast was basic,

We liked the modern apart hotel with a lots of facilities (a well equipped gym, washing possibility). The hotel was situated in a very nice quiet residential area, but was easy to reach. (We also appreciated that the hotel send to us an online public transport travel card to use in Geneva)All around a big park with wonderful views. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice.

The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped

The mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was subpar - on a Sunday, the breakfast was almost all over by 9:30 including coffee (when breakfast was supposed to be available till 11) - the ladles veg and meat dishes were all mixed and used interchangeably and for vegetarians like us, that was extremely uncomfortable

I really like the request I have made they have accepted and gave me meat and clean room with very good view.

The property is in quiet location and all rooms are neat and clean. Staff are very responsive and friendly.
