Hotel des Alpes

We were put in this hotel after our original hotel closed due to COVID. Location was great. Very cool and funky artwork everywhere. No fitness room , but easy to access lake and River.

Breakfast was 24 CHF per person

Great location close to public transport, restaurants, etc. Decent breakfast in a hotel across the street.

Room was quite hot and airconditioning did not work, as per the reception, they are not allowed to turn it on in the winter.

Location was perfect just infront of the train station , and very near to the lake.very near to everythingBreakfast was nice , had all the basics needed even though it was in the opposite hotel not that same building.they serve in the reception area Coffee, tea , water 24/7

Bed & Pillows could be betterroom was really smallwhen we opened the windows we were looking at the ac units from the other buildings around us

The room was a good size for me. They loaned me a Swiss plug converter. Coffee in the lobby was great. Excellent location between the. Train station and the lake. I walked almost everywhere. I used the free public transportation pass, too.

No complaints

The transport passes and closeness to shops near downtown.

It seems similar to an econo lounge in the US they are a place to sleep but not that great. The room and hall ways had a sour smell. Like old milk or cheese.

Close to train station and many restaurants. Rooms were small but adequate.

We had 2 rooms, one had been recently renovated. The other room was larger but hadn't been renovated. There were very few outlets.

Terrific location — close to train station, lake, and restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were on the top floor and the air conditioning struggled to keep our room cool

The location is the best. Very near the central bus and train stations. Lots of different kind of restos around.

Some of the lights in our room were not working.

Great location...blocks from train station...coin laundry a couple blocks away...short walk to lake Geneva

The location is excellent for the airport and station. The room was large and well equipped :) the staff were really really friendly and very willing to help.

Shower when I arrived and I’m the morning were cold. Sound proofing in the room was quite bad, I could clearly hear conversations in the hallway.

Pigeon’s on windowsill (405) opened window to bird poo and pigeons everywhere. So couldn’t leave window open. Bit cramped in the room, but ok. Pillows too flat n soft

The hotel is very well located, rooms are quiet and practical. It has everything needed, is clean and comfortable. Personnel is very kind and go out of there way to help you and make you feel at home!

The bed was a bit hard but ok (I guess this depends on preferences). I would suggest better more firm pillows.

Location was superb, no taxi's required all amenities were on the doorstep. The train station was only a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Terrace was excellent and the staff were all lovely..

Room was great the only problem was the staircase steps to the bed on the mezzanine floor, were a little small and the bed was in the eves so there was not a lot of head space to move around.

Disappointing

At 8:20 the hotel staff started drilling the panel next to the door to my room. I went out and asked them to leave, but I couldn't sleep anymore and didn't get enough sleep. I notified the reception staff when I checked out. Be more attentive to your visitors, please

Great budget hotel in a convenient location very close to both rail and bus stations. Very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room!

Location is really good, just 5 minutes walk from central train station and 10 minutes from lake and city center.

Pillows could be better.

It's actually my second time to stay in this hotel. What I like:The location is close to the bus station and also close to shops and restaurants. It's just walking distance to Geneva fountain.There is portable air conditioner\heater in every room.Drinking water machine +coffee machine in the entrance of the hotel and it's free.

The breakfast is very basic but I still like, it's not that bad :)

Nice staff

The rooms keys opened more than 1 room. A young couple opened our door during the night?

Pleasant

No security, at 1:50am homeless woman got to the third floor, knocking violently on the door asking for shelter.
