Hotel Bristol

The location is right near Lake Geneva and within the same block as the top luxury hotels. However it's not conducive for a solo traveler to explore on foot in the evening. No bars or restaurants (outside of the high end hotels) nearby.

I was disappointed by the hotel's lack of a door lock in the room (never seen this before at a hotel) and that they loudly said my room number and that I was traveling alone. Not ideal for a solo traveler. Property more a 3/3.5 star than a 4.

Outstanding hotel. Everything is in perfect condition, the staff gets out of their way to help you, the food is very good. Will stay again.

Finalising the bill at checkout took a long time and there were mistakes to iron out. Also we were told on our second morning of three that our breakfast wasn’t included which we had to refer back to reception to confirm that yes it was.

The gym is very small for such a big hotel.

Location was excpetioanl - easy walking access to everything. Facilities all high end. Staff amazing. We had a car and thankfully there was a valet service as the front entry to the hotel is a main street and parking is on the footpath. Breakfast was delicious.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Bristol Geneva. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to the lake, shops, and public transport. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. I also really enjoyed the elegant, stylish atmosphere, which made the stay feel both relaxing and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Our first room, that was part of a suit had faulty air conditioning.

Amazing location, maximum of 5 mins walking distance to Geneva train station, international coach station as well as tram and bus stops. 30 mins by bus or 10 min train journey from Geneva Airport. Lively area with good dinner options around.Amazing hotel, extremely clean, great spa facilities and friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely loved our stay!

Difficult to use TV system - no access to Netflix/Disney/Youtube and cannot connect your phone to TV.

Location was very close to the Lake. Easy walk to Old Town.

The lift doors were a bit annoying as they did not open automatically. You pushed it open but could not see if anyone was standing there waiting so there was the potential to hit them when you opened the door. I mostly used the stairs because of this. Lobby could be a bit crowded at times.

The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Geneva.

Unfortunately an impersonal experience that made us feel like a room number rather than valued guests. Despite emailing months in advance to explain that we were traveling with a daughter with special needs and requesting a quiet room away from lifts and restaurant noise, we were allocated a room directly next to the lift on the 4th floor. As a result, we were repeatedly woken during the night by people arriving on the floor, talking loudly, laughing, and shouting. For a 4-star hotel, the breakfast was a little disappointing, limited choice and not up to the standard we experienced elsewhere during our trip in Montreux and Zermatt. The concierge was never available, and when we asked for recommendations, the check-in staff tried to help but had very limited local knowledge regarding restaurants or activities.

The location was perfect. The hotel was beautiful. They accommodated my 4 person family w 2 adult children with 2 adjoining rooms. The staff was very nice.
