    Pros +

    • The only thing we liked was the coffee.
    • A nice warm welcome, easy to find and very close to the port.
    • Avoid this hotel at all costs — unhygienic rooms and dishonest management

    Cons -

    • Following: No coffee spoons, after asking for a spoon, the waitress gave me one, but she wasn't holding the handle. The room smelt of nicotin, the room was very loud from the trafic. The mattresses were to hard like a stone.
    • A bit far out of town, you would have drive, but if your happy to use on site bar and restaurant it is not a problem.
    • My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and frustrating.1.Unhygienic conditions: The shower curtain had visible mold, which is unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone at this price point. The room itself was very small, cramped, and suffocating. You can easily find much better rooms in this area for the same or lower price.2.Dishonest and unethical behavior: I was outright scammed by the hotel. I had already paid via Booking.com, so at checkout I expected to pay only the difference. Instead, the hotel demanded the full amount again. Assuming it was a mistake, I trusted them and paid — only to later discover I had been double charged. When I contacted Booking.com, they told me the hotel initially hadn’t charged the virtual card but later did so after I had already paid in person. This means the hotel knowingly took my money twice. To make matters worse, they completely ignored Booking.com’s repeated attempts to contact them about the issue. As of today, I still haven’t received my refund and have had to open a formal dispute process. This is not just poor service — it’s dishonest business practice. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. There are far better, cleaner, and more trustworthy options nearby. Save yourself the headache.

We received a friendly reception. Our room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was very nice with good service. The location was close to Le Shuttle, which was perfect for us.

As there was a sign at reception to take ALL luggage into the hotel, there was obvioiusly a concern for the security of the vehicles in the hotel car park. We did find this rather disconcerting and found that it created a disturbed night's sleep, worrying about the safety of our car.

    It was all good

A lovely hotel. Restaurant was a real bonus and the food lovely. Dog friendly a real bonus too. The receptionist/ waitress/ chef? Was amazing. We will be back.

The bath had a couple of hairs in it.

Very close to le Shuttle and plenty of parking. Helpful staff and a small restaurant which served us despite being quite late. Let us store bikes inside.

On a fairly busy road. Location not beautiful but very practical. Very small bathroom but fine.

The restaurant and chef were fantastic . Really really good food. Excellent for a small motel. Good service. Nice simple clean place. Good value.

All very good we will be back.

Very dated hotel. Waited over 5 minutes in the restaurant to be served no staff appeared so we left to get a burger

    7Jamie_14Posted on: 4-7-2025

Parking was possible to leave my car at €10 per night

There was no hot water in the shower on the morning I left

Great location for an overnight stay after a late channel crossing. The rooms are comfortable and have the basics that you need.

    We regularly use this hotel

Room was cold, however the weather was exceptionally cold. It has been OK in the past

    8GrantPosted on: 2-24-2025

Very handy for Eurotunnel. Not expensive. Easy access to Autoroute.

No criticisms. Perfect for my purposes. Frequently used by us on our trips to France.

receptionist was very efficient and it was a smooth and fast entrance..good location if you have transport

Pillows were a little soft and the heating wasn't that good

    2AshleyPosted on: 1-20-2025

nothing the girl on reception seem to have to do everything she was the only good thing about the place

catering / bar facilities terrible food awful , room small and tired not good value compared to similar we have previously used in the area

    8DavidPosted on: 1-18-2025

    Friendly staff very helpful

Food wasn't very good but overall nice stay worth the money

    8FionaPosted on: 1-13-2025

Great location for the ShuttleComfortable bedsFriendly staffNice dinnerPet friendly

In need of some TLC & redecoration

    5LindaPosted on: 1-13-2025

Hotel is outdated but reasonable. We just needed for overnight stay before we get ferry and for that is absolutely ok. good beds, quiet place to stay.

Chose it as food on images looked good selection but that was disappointing. Don't do dinner there as menu was confusing and without prices and breakfast was also overpriced.

    7KeithPosted on: 1-12-2025

Everything was very good, as usual EXCEPT the heating was very poor. The staff were wearing top coats to keep warm. When I used the restaurant its was so cold clients were wearing top coats, including me and the waiter was wearing a padded jacket!I checked into my room at 15.15 nd turned on the heating when I went to bed at 22.00 the room was still not hot.

The failure of the heating system to heat every part of the hotel.
