    Pros +

    • The staff was wonderful. Their pet dog in the lobby was delightful.
    • Comfortable bed. Liked the red tiles in the bathroom - shame they hadn't repainted / plastered the rest of the wall. Great shower. Average size for a smaller hotel room. Reasonable breakfast. Staff were helpful.Literally next door to the train station and bus stops. Only a short walk to the free bus to go into town.
    • Great location to catch the ferry to the UK the next day. Less than 10 minute drive away. Front desk gave me detailed directions, which was very helpful.

    Cons -

    • The bathroom had no shower curtain or spray hose fixture on the wall. It was very difficult to shower. There was a faint smell of trapped moisture on the 3nd level. The exterior of the hotel looks like an abandoned building. The location was great.
    • Had to sit on the toilet on an angle because there wasn't enough room between the wall and the toilet.
    • everything was great

Location close to LeShuttle with parking (free) across the street. Very helpful staff even late in the evening and speaking English to help me park my large van. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Also next to the train station and central bus stop.

It’s old and ready to refurbish although the historic decor in the lobby bar area was charming.

    Was charming.

Bed was way too hard. Checked in super late, only time to sleep get up early. Price was horrible too high. But that’s bc we booked from booking.com the receptionist said she would have given us a better deal. But was too late to cancel.

The room was comfortable, and perfect for my needs. The staff were all lovely, and made me feel welcome at a difficult time that I was going through. The location was perfect to be able to walk to shopping, restaurants, and to do a little sightseeing. The hotel itself was like a nice trip back in time, in a very pleasant way. Very relaxed and welcoming.

Close to the centre of Calais, only 10 min walk. Leshuttle terminal 10 mins. Plenty of places to eat or drink, very friendly people. Under cover secure garage for cars/ motorbikes. Old style hotel with lots of charm, and a full size snooker table to use for a small charge. Continental breakfast and egg and bacon if requested.

Location & value for money.Saved £ 80 by not booking a hotel in the centre, just a 5 min walk to the bars

Easy to find and close to Euro Tunnel. It was good for a night but a little bit over priced. Hotel rooms need renovation. Hotel itself is old. Very friendly staff.

Bedrooms badly need updated. Dark wood furniture in bedrooms needs to be modernised Corridor lights at night really need to work.

Check in couldn't run my CC Card. It works everywhere else including the reservation.. It was late, I had to go find a ATM to retrieve cash.
