The Sydney Hotel

Lovely hotel and wonderful staff. Only a short taxi to the airport, which was great. The pool is nice and breakfast also very enjoyable.

Nowhere near city centre and very hard to get to by public transport. An hour long difficult walk from train station.

Modern and sleek decor. Pool was clean and maintained. Staff overall quite friendly.

We stayed on the top floor (7th) and the view was great-however the air conditioning did not work. It was terribly hot in our rooms even when we complained. Also, the pool area smelled strongly of garbage.

Location was awful. Was advertised as close to the city centre. Rude hotel staff. Breakfast was bland.

Staff at the reception were very friendly but nothing special, rooms were comfortable…

Staff at the reastaurant ( breakfast ) needs to smile more and start to love their job!

I did a night stop while on a road trip and I've chosen it because it was cheap and near the highway. But I got really impressed with the hotel. There was even a breakfast in the price. I think it's best experience so far while on a night stop during a roadtrip

Great hotel, nice and efficient staff, spacious room, confortable bed and very good breakfast. It's not the first time that we stay at the Sydney hotel and it won't be the last one.

Prices slightly increased compared with last year.

Excellent stopover destination if driving from Northern Europe to Southern Italy. Close to the main highway so quick to get back onto the highway without needing to enter central Bologna. We enjoyed our stay and happy to recommend.

Hotel located on the edge of Bologna, with free secure parking in front of the building. The room was large and included a bathroom with both a shower cabin and a bathtub. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of sweet and savory options, plus good coffee. We stayed at the hotel for six nights, so having the same breakfast every day became a bit repetitive.

There was only a very small cupboard in the room for us. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all, although we understand that this depends on each person. The room itself was big, so a bit more storage space would have been appreciated.

Out of town but near to the motorway if using as a stopover. Dinner in the restaurant is always good. Nice pool area and a taxi ride from the city centre. Nice pool area.

Not much else close to the hotel - it is near the Expo area. Need a car or taxi.

Breakfast was fantastic, the staff was friendly — I had to once ask for a latte during night time at the Bar since the Coffee Bar is right behind it and they share the same staff. Not once did the bar tender smile or judge me, which I thought was pretty cool :)Bathroom is huge and having a bidet is a plus. Since the location is far off from the center, there's only one bus stop close-by. You would be better served by calling the front desk and booking taxis, they give you an ETA and a ticket once you get to the front desk.

The walk-in shower area was small and so every time you turn your body you would turn off the water faucet. Wi-Fi was horrible and didn't work most of the time. There's only centralized heating in Winter which is kind of a bummer, so I had to crack open the windows every night. The location is kinda far from the center but it worked out for me as I was attending a conference nearby. They have a restaurant in the Hotel but they hardly have any vegetarian food.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the pool was perfect along with the breakfast (but strict on the timing). The bed was very comfortable and the availability of the bathtub was highly appreciated. The only thing to note is that the location is outside the city center and we relied on cabs to get around, as did all the others but it was totally worth it

Mentioned problems re/ WiFi reception in room first evening & night. In the lobby ok; in the room not. Little help. Complained to management after my stay, as no reaction when leaving/paying. No answer by management. Not acceptable! A client isn't adressing a problem just for the fun of it!

Very comfortable beds and good size room with a very well designed and appointed bathroom.Superb buffet style breakfast with something for everyone.

Perfect location for visiting Bolgna Fiere, also close to the highway and it's easy to get to the city center from here. There is plenty of parking space, the staff is friendly and the local restaurant is also of high quality.

Although I'm more of a meat eater, I missed the breakfast option of more vegetables and salad.

Location, good feel to the place,nice bar & restaurant. Rooms are spacious and well finished.

Annoying bits are the unfortable pillows, a room for two regularly provided with tea/coffee provided for one person. We always have to ask for additional or alternate tea bags.

Hotel is nice free parking good brekfast.

No smart tv small pilovs no transport to city center only taxi.

The staff were friendly and the property was clean.Breakfast selection was very good.

The rooms were too hot. The gym was very ordinary.The pool looked good…a pity you were not able to use it.Wi Fi reception was terrible from the rooms.
