I really liked the location and the hotel and my room have a very unique touch - which is great. The staff is absolutely lovely.

The bathroom is the most important part for me - and the one in my room was not in a very good condition. It didn’t felt clean enough and the facilities are just old and look dirty. You don’t expect that in a four star hotel.

We stayed in basement room which was very dark. There was basically no door into bathroom. Toilet was broken and leaking. Towel was ragged and stinky. Definatelly not 4* hotel and not worth the money.

We liked the design of the hotel -in a converted convent. Great breakfasts. Location was good convenient for old town and close to a nice park.

Nothing. We did get ripped off by the taxi to the station but that was not the hotels fault - but guests should be careful.

Excellent location. Just over ten minute walk from centre. Lovely receptionist who gave us a choice of rooms. Room fabulous and so comfortable. Excellent breakfast with choices of fruits, meats, cheeses etc. Freshly made omelette made for us. Also Excellent recommendations of restaurants. Thanks for everything

The shower is tiny and not much water pressure. But it is an old building in an old city, so not really much can be done about it.

The location in the city is unbeatable. As we expected, the car parking was not easy but we managed to park on the blue zones and pay using Easypark app.

The light intensity in the room was too low. This was the only issue.

The property is great, but don’t expect you are going to 4 star hotel in addition the behaviour of reception was not good, and remember that in here they have written that the price is included with tax but when you go there you have to pay extra 6 euro per person per night, in addition even one bottle water is not included ! Bring it with yourself

It's far way from the railway station, about 50 minutes walking.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, helping us with transport enquiries. The breakfast was lovely, rooms were smaller than we thought from the pictures but more than fine. The location was quiet, air cond worked well given we were there in a heatwave. About a 10 minute walk to the city centre but at least 10 eating places nearby.

The people who work there are wonderful. They go above and beyond to help and to make you welcome. Our room 55 was away from the street and utterly quiet. The mattress as excellent, which matters for a bad back. The decor is lovely.

A couple things: worst of all, our room has a raised section of flooring, about six inches above the entry from the front door and again about six inches about the main portion of the room where the bed and chairs are. It’s a constant trip hazard and an invitation to a stumble and fall, which is dangerous when you’re over seventy. Also the staircase has step shaped like a wedge of pie that I stumbled on repeatedly, although my constant habit of holding on to a railing when on stairs saved me from falling every time. The entry light is woefully inadequate to show the rise in the floor level. The shower lacks a grab bar, the shower head is on a post from which it can be removed, as is usual in Europe, but the post stops just above waist level on a six-footer. So you can’t stand under the flow to wash your hair, even if you still have some, although the flexible tube does let you raise the shower head above your own head. The layout of the bathroom is about as inconvenient as it could be. In the elevator you have to hold the button all the time to keep the elevator moving and my wife got trapped in there with the luggage by letting go of it too soon, although pressing the button again let the elevator finish the journey and open the door.
