Position close to city, helpful staff, car park and breakfast.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very pleasant

The bathroom was far too small. The toilet was practically under the sink and the shower had possibly at 12 inch opening. The car park was very small and staff vehicles often blocked some of the parking spots

Location was excellent for the Barbican. Staff were very friendly. Room was lovely and clean. The breakfast provided was great,I only expected to have a full English but there was also toast, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. It was great value for money!

Clean and well situated with on site parking. Although we were staying above a pub it was really quiet. The pub was nice and had a sun trap beer garden too it was lovely.

Lovely and clean. Parking available which was lovely as one arrived did not need to use again until leaving. Tea,coffee and biscuits along with water provided in the room. This was replenished daily. Breakfast was amazing!!... staff friendly definitely book again.

Nothing not to like- only suggestion to have hand wash in room.

The room was spotless, breakfast marvelous and the location is ok, just a short walk from the city centre and train station.

Wifi signal in the room was poor.

Nothing, a superb stay

Clean and tidy, friendly staff. I stayed in the single bed room and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing. The shower was great

Breakfast was excellent and included a gluten free menu. The staff were polite and friendly and the location was perfect for the Barbican Centre, just a five minute walk and a 15 minute walk into York centre. Our room was clean and spacious supplied with a kettle and tea/coffee. The shower was good and shower gel/shampoo provided. Free secure parking is a bonus. I would stay again.

A full length mirror in the room would have been appreciated.

The pub is in an excellent location 10 to 15 walk to the shambles and other attractions. The room was spotless with a comfy bed and tea coffee/biscuits were replenished daily as well as a general room tidy up. the breakfast was superb, the staff friendly but not intrusive and the beer garden a plus.

There was nothing we disliked, however there are no lifts so may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Breakfast, location, staff friendliness all excellent - plus a very good range of beers

Unfortunately they don't do evening meals

Property is in a good location just outside the city walls. Includes free parking and does a great breakfast

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were really helpful. Would definitely stay here again if going yo York.It's a very short walk to The Barbican, and a nice stroll in to the town centre.

The shower wasn't the greatest, the cubicle was a little small, and the water didn't get hot enough for our liking (personal preference).I had no problems parking, but there's not many spaces (less paces than there are room numbers for sure :) )

The breakfast was amazing. They catered to me being vegan.

Toilet was hard to flush and the window didn’t seal properly
