York Aparthotel

Location

Shower was very poor and missing a couple kitchen items to make full use of the cooking facilities.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Mike from maintenance, who happened to be on-site when we arrived, quickly helped us into the apartment and kindly ensured all was in order. The location is excellent—an easy walk to trains, buses, and the town centre.  The apartment itself was quiet, spotlessly clean, and had strong Wi‑Fi. The space feels newly renovated, with a very comfortable bed, a functional kitchenette for simple meals, and a great shower.  The reliable heating kept us cozy throughout our chilly New Year’s stay.  This was a very pleasant stay that we would happily recommend.

Location close to centre. Perfect size for 2 people.

Shower door kept getting stuck. Hopefully a simple fix for owner. Parking could do with 1 space for each apartment.

The location. Bed was very comfortable. Host was very helpful and had a lot of patience.

The toilet/ shower wasn't entirely clean. The room was cold upon arrival and heating it wasn't straightforward. The air conditioning wouldn't switch to heating and I spent a while trying to figure it out.I used a heater fan thingy but it wasn't very effective.

Location

Doors to the bathroom cannot be closed (almost destroyed my marriage). The bed is short, not a standard size. The couch is not comfy at all.

Great location, perfect for our business travel needs. The hosts were accommodating and all information for check in was provided in detail for a smooth check in.

Easy to access and park , fridge and washer

Too hot to sleep - even with AC ( not effective) pub next door very loud till late

It’s quiet and funky and a short walk to the centre of town. Richard was very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again.

The location is excellent.

The bed was too soft for my liking. Cleaning could have been better.

Convenient

Soundproofing from other apartments doesn't exist. I could hear the conversations of the neighbours above me and their footsteps constantly. Same for any movement in the courtyard. The windows blinds do not block out enough light and the room is like daylight. There were no batteries in the TV remote or the AC remote so I've been unable to adjust the room temperature. Hairdryer wasn't working. All in all it was disappointing considering what I paid.

Great location, facilities where beyond what I expected. No keys to carry round, all done by touch screen/codeWill definitely be booking here again

Nice little flat, close to everything, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Heating was nice and the lights in the stairs a plus ?

Bathroom, some plates and cups were dirty, with lip marks. Pots need to be renewed soon and the microwave was a bit too loud, as it was to explode ?The bed side light switches weren't working ?

The apartments are beautiful and modern inside. The room we had was very clean. The apartments are central so it was just a short walk into the centre.

Great location and very comfortable.just a few things not up to scratch.the remote for the heating didn't work so couldn't put on but had fire as back up and the toilet had a leak.but other than that all good

Clean room & comfortable bed. Good kitchen facilities.

The blinds are a bit thin, so it was quite bright in the room at 5:45am

Very central location and comfortable bed. Large sitting room area with comfortable sofa. There was lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk packets available. Individually wrapped toothbrushes with mini toothpaste was a nice touch.

Parking is really only for 3 cars, not 4. Get there early. No working fire alarms. Outer casings left open and no batteries. Only noticed this in the morning. Although there is a full length mirror on the bedroom wall there was also a full length one in the actual shower for no apparent reason. You could see yourself on the toilet too. It was weird and a bit creepy. Towels looked worn and my partner's one had stains on it. Shower heads (both fixed and handheld) needed a good clean or replacement. Plugs sockets were quite far away from the sofa but luckily I brought my own travel extension plug. Iron board cover looked disgusting and iron plate needed a good clean. Kitchen bin pedal was broken.Found out the kettle didn't work when trying to make tea in the morning and their pan didnt appear to work on the induction hob to heat water.Previously quite used washing up sponge provided for us. Would have been nice to have a new one. Refrigerator broke down during the night which we only realised when we picked up the drinks we had stored in there the night before and they weren't very cold and the ice we had kept in the freezer was melting in the bag.Hairdryer was fixed to the bedroom wall and you had to keep your finger on it to keep it on. Difficult to do with arthritis.Roller blind in the bedroom didn't work even though there were slat blinds they weren't black out ones so both partner and I woke up at 5.30am due to sunlight coming in. Could hear a lot noise from outside up until 11pm and then again early morning.

Close to town and cosy.

Someone trying to get into the flat at around 11pm last night. Not alot of room in the bedroom, low ceiling, no good if you are tall.

the easy check in, the location and the apartments are beautiful

nothing to not like

Great communication and information.. perfect location for the city centre.. lovely apartment with all facilities.. great value for money .. a superb choice ??

Great location wise, beautiful clean well maintained apartment good communication from the host

Noise from pub (unavoidable) blind didn't work in bedroom but all in all a lovely apartment
