B+B York

We enjoyed the location, 5 min walk to get into centre of York, the hotel was lovely and clean and staff friendly

The location was excellent with all the main attractions easily walkable.The B&B was really cosy , breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable too. Would definitely recommend it if you’re going to York.

Very reasonably priced. Comfy bed. Clean. Very reasonable price which included breakfast.

Not sure what the £1 security deposit is about - never been charged this before. Breakfast was fine but no frills either.

Well equipped and spacious room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. We could hear some sounds from other rooms in the morning but didn't notice any noise at night, it was quiet. Breakfast was very good. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The location was in a quiet neighborhood in walking distance from the center.

Nothing really, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Simple check in, car parked in their own spaces (£15 for the night) only 500 metres to the town centre and any shops you may need. Breakfast was beautiful and cooked perfectly

Poor quality ingredients especially sausage and egg. No gluten free cereal or even just fruit for someone gluten free therefore only yoghurt and cooked breakfast.

The B&B is a 10 minute amble to York City Centre.Cosy rooms with a comfortable bed and great shower facilities. Breakfast selection was amazing and able to accommodate Gluten Free dietary requirements.

Parking is £15 in the B&B car park, however this is a standard pricing throughout York.

Could do with more choice for breakfast as no croissants and only one choice of yoghurt.

Second visit to B+B and won't be our last. Again really friendly, comfortable room, breakfast is amazing, we didn't need to eat again until late evening. Love it.

Breakfast was only available from 8 till 9.30. The door to the house at the back needs to be easier to open.

The room was lovely and big! Was very clean and looked like photos. Great location - walking distance to the city centre. With being gluten free was nice to have food options and same for my husband who is vegetarian.

Absolutely amazing B+B. Staff were very attentive and helpful and we have already discussed coming back to stay here again when we are next in York!

Fantastic hotel. Slightly outdated in the room that we stayed, but very clean. We took our puppies for their first ever hotel stay, the staff were great with them. The location is great, close enough to the city centre, (about 10 minute walk)but far enough away so its quiet. The breakfast was served quickly and was very nice. Will definitely book this again when visiting York.

The room (reserved for people with their dogs) was slightly outdated. There was only a small area outside. Not huge issues.

Breakfast was acceptable but I would’ve liked croissants and my grandson wanted hash browns but they are for the vegan option not the Yorkshire breakfast !

One of the single beds was basically springs with a sheet over it and the double was pretty much the same on one side ! Also one of the single beds was apart from the rest and neither of the children would sleep there !

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy! The room was quiet and peaceful.

Room was warm and comfortable. Good decor and spotless. Hotel was close to centre and good as base to explore. Hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Gave us advice on what places were still open for food on Sunday night when we arrived. Really helpful.

Had to pay extra for parking, which wasn't made clear until after we booked. There was no mention of a charge.. It was an extra £15 per night. I understand that parking is a premium in and around the city centre. If his had been highlighted, before booking, I would have had more of an insight for my budget. Thought this was sneaky left off. There were other hotels I dismissed because it showed extra for parking, which would have cost more than this hotel. In fact with their parking charges I would have paid less than I paid for the stay here. Be warned if booking with booking.com you have to pay for parking here.
