Great location, clean room with a modern bathroom, lovely welcoming staff, excellent value for money.

Parking can be tricky.

Bathroom floor tile loose and cracked. Shower water pressure poor.

Room was clean with a lovely view towards the sea. Location was good with the bars and restaurants, beach and pier within walking distance. Friendly staff.

The en suite bathroom was a sliding door which was very stiff and hard to close. The inside handle of the bathroom was not attached and came off and the handle screws were protruding leaving sharp edges, this led me to be unable to open the door from the inside. My partner had to open from the other side to let me out! We reported this to the night manger but the message was not passed onto the day team. Parking was an issue, as in hard to find a spot as it was busy. The breakfast restaurant was quite a walk away but was ok. For the price, by the time we added on breakfast at £10 each and all day parking, it was not such good value.

The room was clean and quiet

The matress was quite hard. Also I asked for a shade to be put on the bedside lamp while I was out. This did not happen. I had to contend with a bare bulb around 100 watts I think

Almost the last hotel right by the sea in Southsea, so definitely recommended.I wasn’t sure if the sea view would be worth it, so I only booked a room facing the park. When we arrived, we were given an upgrade to a room with a sea view.Wow, what a view. You can sit by the window for hours watching the ships go by. There’s always something happening — from small sailboats to large cruise ships.A supermarket is just around the corner, and the breakfast at the nearby restaurant is worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Parking prices on the Street and in the complete area are high. You pay 13 to 15 Pounds per Day from 8 a.m to 6 p.m. so you are okay if you are there for just a night. The Hotel should get Parking Permits for there Guests.

I had a very quiet relaxing night’s sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. Good shower.

It was difficult to find a parking space nearby as it’s a popular beach front location for day trippers. Once a space was found it was ok..and using the app to pay for parking was ok.

Great location on Southsea seafront. The hotel was modern & clean. Bedroom was quite small but we booked at the last minute so suspect it was all that was available. Bathroom was small too but very clean & stylish with complimentary toiletries.Lady on reception was very welcoming & friendly.

Everything kept super clean easy to find central to everything you need within 10 minutes

Good location. Clean room, lots of space.

Too noisy during the night. Blinds didn't fit over windows, which meant there was lots of light in the room all night from the street lights

Nice uncluttered location with street parking(chargeable) outside. Staff were lovely and the front facing room was very nice.

Nice location, big bed

Disappointed in room. Very basic, key card to turn on lights didn’t work, staff came and banged holder to get contacts to work & said to leave card in to make sure they stayed on. Missing bedside lamp on one side (the bracket was there but no light), only sockets at 1 side of the bed. Bath/shower leaked all over bathroom floor.

The hotel is in a great location by Southsea common. I had a back room that was very quiet.

The decor in my room was very bland. White walls, grey furniture and bed throw. No pictures or colour in the room. No catering on site

We like staying in the rooms at the front as you get a sea view. The rooms are very clean and warm.

Not a problem, at all, for us but could be issue for some as no lift and lots of stairsAlso no parking - but to be expected for the area. But neither of these things would not put us off for future.

It's right next to Southsea common and promenade which is great for exercise. There's some excellent bars and restaurants a short walk away. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious.It's excellent value for money.

Staff member, Carolina, contacted me before the stay to check what time we were arriving and to confirm we could check out an hour later. She was very polite and helpful. Location was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable.
