Good sized room and nice to have a bar available

The hotel was clean and in a good location.

The beds are too hard

I got a message less than 24 hours before to say there was a £5 per 24 hour parking charge, then on arrival they added a £100 deposit on top of the room stay which I also was not prepared for. We were given no information, you have to use a QR code so you have to be handy with a phone. Breakfast was cold and some items unavailable. Everything was pricey. It was also right beside an industrial estate not advertised in the photos

The whole check in experience which ruined a Valentine weekend. We left the property after 2 nights of a 3 night stay and will not be using Marriott Hotels again.

Warm modern comfortable hotel with good size rooms feels like quality as you would expect.

Room had not been cleaned properly. Its a nice hotel but like so many hotels attention is required to things like carpets architrave skirtings all badly damaged and need replacement.Not big things but people notice these small details.

How close it was to where we needed to go to

The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows weren’t much better! Checked in and paid security deposit and car parking, also paid for my family of 5 (2adults and 3children) to have breakfast upon check in to then only get told that they only charged for 3 of us so I then needed to pay £60 extras just to have breakfast… won’t stay again because the communication is very poor

Great stay - staff went above and beyond with requests, good breakfast.

Wish the room had a microwave.

I found ALL staff were friendly, smiley, helpful. The cleaning staff all made an effort to say good-morning. Breakfast, Bar staff all welcoming and friendly. I liked the gym equipment and amount of equipment. Spacious environment, very clean.

I found the EV charger limiting and weak. Especially when EV cars are very common and only 2 spaces to charge in. 198 spaces available. 4 to 5 need to be EV and a better KW range. No water cups or available disinfectant wipes for gym equipment. My wife 'hated' the lift voice system. She found it annoying. Not enough hooks in the bathroom for towels, clothes.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well stocked with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone. Car parking was a bonus.

Drinks in the bar seemed expensive to us, however we rarely drink in hotels and accept that it's probably the going rate.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean and tidy the rooms are spacious and spotless.

It’s a nice hotel. Comfy bed, cleanish room (there was a stain on the carpet that could only be dog poo). The staff were professional and the facilities were good, but I will never stay at a Marriott again (see below).

The room was a good price for two adults, for one night. But then they charged us £45 to have our dog with us, FORTY FIVE POUNDS????? For two adults it was £70, that’s £35 each. It costs more for the dog than it does for an adult, and he didn’t get a bed. They had zero extra costs because he was there. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS.

Lovely clean spacious beds, had the best sleep of my life. Shower facilities were good, with shampoo and conditioner. The room was lovely and well decorated. Staff were lovely and friendly.

The breakfast was a bit basic given the price. Would have been nice to also be given a toothbrush as I don’t normally carry one when travelling

The space was good. Rooms clean and handy! 2nd visit so no doubt they’ll be more as it’s so central

The room was a good size, excellent bed and room amenities.

The window looked out to the event centre where a sports event was taking place. Not sure if we could leave the curtains open.
