Super Breakfast. Swimming pool! Friendly bar staff.

Lighting in room a bit dim.

Easily accessible and clean. The gym suits for purpose and the girl was friendly behind the counter.

The manager has the tendency to talk over you. This is not the first time this has happened. However the issue that arose was dealt with but his management skills and customer relations need a retrain as it does upset the whole stay.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was well presented and edible. Room was cosy but a little noisy at night.

The bar and food is lovely. Basic simple but adequate. Every thing you need. The spa and pool was amazing. The taxi service is amazing. The staff were amazing. The food and drinks were OK.

The rooms are a bit dated. The climate control didn't work. The sofa bed was worn out, the girls needed an extra mattress because they were sleeping on the sofa bed wires.

Everything you need for a comfortable night's stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful, good leisure facilities, comfortable room.

We were not told in advance that the half board option was a 2 course limited menu.

The room was good and clean, although the window wasn't properly sealed and the wind was whistling through.

Got to the pool/ spa at 7pm - its closing time was 8pm. There was no-one on duty so had to get another member of staff to find someone to let us in. We were then told that there were no towels, the jacuzzi was out of action and the sauna was about to close. Had to go back up to my room to get towels so only got back into the spa by 7.15/7.20 and was then told by the member of staff that he wanted to go home and I couldn't use the sauna as he was closing it. I can appreciate they may have been short staffed but I am afraid it was rotten service by the young man on duty. The staff in the restaurant/ bar were really nice and friendly, but in this instance I am afraid the food was dreadful!

Location was perfect for the historic dockyard which is why we came. Walking distance with two little humans in tow Room was clean. Breakfast was tasty, no pancakes on shrove Tuesday tho.

Pool was closed due to maintenance. Would have been nice to be told prior to booking.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Lunch and dinner options were good even for a GF diet.Rooms had good amount of space.

Gluten free options for breakfast were limited and main pastry supply ran out before serving had finished. (Around 9.30am)

Room was nice and tidy. Breakfast that we received was nice. Bar area nice and tidy with plenty of room. Water was lovely in shower.

The phone in room was very dated, buttons missing and you had to guess which one for reception as no markings. We had breakfast delivered to room, some items were missing, also had to phone to see where it was as was late. Air con didn't seem to work. Cocktail list could do with updating and not bottled cocktails especially for 9.95. shame about no fridge in room.

Excellent location, friendly service. Pool an added bonus. Nice to have on-site parking.

Showing its age, seat and curtain stained in room. Curtain hanging off rail. Air conditioning controls not working so room very hot.

Great location for our overnight before an early ferry sailing.

Came back from an extended stay in France to a £100 parking fine from the hotel. However quick call and email and was cancelled. Great prompt response by the hotel.

Great location, convenient, access to old Portsmouth, Southsea and Gunwharf.

More parking would be great but we managed to find a space this time.

Great location near the beach. Good breakfast. Was able to book the car in before book on time to get a space.

Car park spaces a little small and car park filled up quickly but to be fair, hotel did warn ofbthis.

Room had a tv with no channels on, mattress really uncomfortable. No veggie sausages at breakfast really disappointed.

Staff friendly Breakfast is very goodSwimming pool, steam sauna, and jacuzzi gave us a holiday vibe in winter.

Signs in the car park could of said full as it ms hard to turn round in the carpark Carpet in room needs changing and the room was a bit tired(but did the job for our comfort)
